Are you ****ing kidding me?  Kill this guy.  No joke.  I always thought the Russia stuff was perhaps a tiny bit overblown, like sure he’s friendly with Putin and would do favors, but this is him being a straight traitor working for our enemies.

No **** these last couple posts are BY FAR the worst **** he’s done.  And we don’t even know how deep the bottom of this goes.

Classified material on human intelligence sources helped trigger alarm

They risk imprisonment or death stealing the secrets of their own governments. Their identities are among the most closely protected information inside American intelligence and law enforcement agencies. Losing even one of them can set back U.S. foreign intelligence operations for years.

Clandestine human sources are the lifeblood of any espionage service. This helps explain the grave concern within U.S. agencies that information from undercover sources was included in some of the classified documents recently removed from Mar-a-Lago, the Florida home of former President Donald Trump — raising the prospect that the sources could be identified if the documents got into the wrong hands.

Trump has a long history of treating classified information with a sloppiness few other presidents have exhibited. And the former president’s cavalier treatment of the nation’s secrets was on display in the affidavit underlying the warrant for the Mar-a-Lago search. The affidavit, released in redacted form on Friday, described classified documents being found in multiple locations around the Florida residence, a private club where both members and their guests mingle with the former president and his coterie of aides.

Nothing in the documents released on Friday described the precise content of the classified documents or what risk their disclosure might carry for national security, but the court papers did outline the kinds of intelligence found in the secret material, including foreign surveillance collected under court orders, electronic eavesdropping on communications and information from human sources — spies.

Trump and his defenders have claimed he declassified the material he took to Mar-a-Lago. But documents retrieved from him in January included some marked “HCS,” for Human Intelligence Control System. Such documents have material that could possibly identify CIA informants, meaning a general, sweeping declassification of them would have been, at best, misguided.

“HCS information is tightly controlled because disclosure could jeopardize the life of the human source,” said John B. Bellinger III, a former legal adviser to the National Security Council in the George W. Bush administration. “It would be reckless to declassify an HCS document without checking with the agency that collected the information to ensure that there would be no damage if the information were disclosed.”

CIA espionage operations inside numerous hostile countries have been compromised in recent years when the governments of those countries have arrested, jailed and even killed the agency’s sources.

Last year, a top-secret memo sent to every CIA station around the world warned about troubling numbers of informants being captured or killed, a stark reminder of how important human source networks are to the basic functions of the spy agency.

And here's more on that memo about high numbers of CIA informants being captured or killed:

Captured, Killed or Compromised: C.I.A. Admits to Losing Dozens of Informants

Top American counterintelligence officials warned every C.I.A. station and base around the world last week about troubling numbers of informants recruited from other countries to spy for the United States being captured or killed, people familiar with the matter said.

The message, in an unusual top secret cable, said that the C.I.A.’s counterintelligence mission center had looked at dozens of cases in the last several years involving foreign informants who had been killed, arrested or most likely compromised. Although brief, the cable laid out the specific number of agents executed by rival intelligence agencies — a closely held detail that counterintelligence officials typically do not share in such cables.

The cable highlighted the struggle the spy agency is having as it works to recruit spies around the world in difficult operating environments. In recent years, adversarial intelligence services in countries such as Russia, China, Iran and Pakistan have been hunting down the C.I.A.’s sources and in some cases turning them into double agents.

Acknowledging that recruiting spies is a high-risk business, the cable raised issues that have plagued the agency in recent years, including poor tradecraft; being too trusting of sources; underestimating foreign intelligence agencies, and moving too quickly to recruit informants while not paying enough attention to potential counterintelligence risks — a problem the cable called placing “mission over security.”

None of this is surprising. Trump thinks everything is his and doesn’t believe in security. He will release anything to his master Vladimir or anything that will be beneficial to him.

I used to think the "treason" thing regarding Trump was a bit overblown, but holy ****...now it's looking like it may actually be accurate. I assume the bar for convicting someone of treason is really high, though. The last person convicted of treason was in 1952.

All you have to do is listen to the GOP's attempt at defending this to know that THEY KNOW he is guilty.  They have shifted their narrative so many times in the past two weeks that as of today they are almost begging for unrest should Trump be put in handcuffs because they know legally there is no justification for his actions.  Feels like they are trying to appeal to every Trump goon out there to intimidate if not outright threaten law enforcement.

Giuliani Rips ‘Inhumane’ Adam Schiff Over Jan 6 Probe, Demands Biden’s Prosecution For ‘Crimes Against Humanity’

Speaking on his Sunday radio program “Uncovering The Truth,” disgraced election litigator and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani slammed Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) as “inhumane” for his role in Congress’s investigation into the January 6 attack on the US Capitol and argued that President Joe Biden “should be tried for crimes against humanity” over Donald Trump’s legal troubles.

Giuliani, who is under investigation himself, accused Democrats of lying about the search of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate and lying about the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

“How many more times do these people have to lie? The whole group of them have to lie. They’re lying about Jan. 6 right now. It’s the same group. Shifty [Adam Schiff] is the guy who told us he had the proof of Russian collusion. There is no proof,” Giuliani said. “It was made up by Hillary Clinton.”

“He’s a damn liar when he starts calling Jan. 6 an insurrection or a revolt. He’s an inhumane human being when he fails to investigate Ashli Babbit’s killing or the involvement of Antifa or the involvement and the mistakes — or maybe worse — of the Capitol Police that led to a lot of this,” the former mayor said of Schiff.

Giuliani also accused Biden of running a “fascist state” because people who “pushed around cops” on Jan. 6 are being sent to jail for 14 months.

“By putting them in jail for 14 months and leaving them there, you’ve got a fascist state going on, pal,” Giuliani argued “I’m not afraid to say that. Joe Biden, you run this place like this is a damn dictatorship and you should be tried for crimes against humanity.”

Rudy is such a moron.

Ashli Babbit's death has been investigated. She was told multiple times by police officers pointing guns at her to stop committing the crime she was committing and to stop trying to break in and rush towards lawmakers and police. She continued to do it and paid for it with her life. Darwin award.

And he's now saying that not only were Antifa there and involved, but that the...capitol police were "involved" in the whole thing somehow?

Also, lol @ "putting them in jail for 14 months and leaving them there." As opposed to...putting them in and then letting them come out every so often to play hopscotch and have some family dinners? Does Rudy not remember how that whole "jail" and "prison" thing works?

It's just sort of amazing to see how quickly all the formerly "no nonsense, tough on crime" folks fold into desperately whining weaklings when it's themselves who start to face any kind of consequences for their actions.  It was all good when they were riding by their own rules above the law.  Laws? Those are for the common folk.....well, hopefully not anymore.

Huntington Beach man who allegedly bragged about breaching the Capitol is arrested, charged

A Huntington Beach man was arrested Thursday, Aug. 25, after a federal complaint was filed last week alleging he breached the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, then bragged about it online.

Federal investigators said they became aware of Brandon Cavanaugh, described as in his 30s, after looking through a Telegram chat on a different Capitol riot suspect’s phone. Someone listed under the contact name “Brandon HB Groyper” used racist and violent language in the chat, according to an FBI agent’s affidavit.

“Groypers,” a term describing members of the America First movement, “believe they are defending against the demographic and cultural changes that are destroying the ‘true America,’ a white, Christian nation,” the agent wrote.

The contact name was connected to Cavanaugh’s cell phone number. Also, Cavanaugh at one point had provided a photo of himself and his email in the chat, the affidavit said.

Donald Trump's lawyer falsely claims FBI searched Mar-a-Lago because Liz Cheney lost her primary

Former President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Jenna Ellis claimed on Sunday morning's edition of Newsmax's Wake Up America that the Federal Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant at Trump's Mar-a-Lago retreat in Palm Beach, Florida on Monday, August 8th because Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming) lost her primary race to Trump-backed challenger Harriet Hageman.

Man, the list of excuses and defenses is getting long:

1. There were no boxes at Mar-a-Lago
2. Other people brought those boxes to Mar-a-Lago
3. Archives could have retrieved the boxes anytime they wanted
4. All the documents in the boxes were declassified
5. I was protecting the boxes for the Archives
6. The boxes were planted by the FBI
7. Obama had more boxes
8.The documents should not have been classified in the first place
9. The documents were already returned.
10. They were my documents
11. There was a standing order that any documents I took out of the Oval Office were automatically declassified
12. Mishandled and rushed move by GSA
13. Invented hoax because J6 Committee ratings were dropping
14. Laws against espionage are wrong
15. Documents are protected by Client-attorney Privilege
16. Documents are protected by Executive Privilege
17. Not only were the FBI wrong in taking them - they better give them back
18. The sensitivity of the documents has expired.
19. Like President Nixon said, "if the president does it, then it is not illegal."
20. I don't believe in the classification system
21. It was an assassination plot
22. Charging Trump would cause so much mayhem it would be a monstrous mistake
23. Every President takes classified documents with them when they leave
24. Mark Meadows planted the documents.
25. I couldn't trust National Archives with the documents because they're controlled by Biden and Obama
26. Only a limited number of Mar-a-Lago staff had access to the documents
27. The documents were for a personal memoir.
28. If it was so serious, why did the FBI take so long to search Mar-a-Lago?
29. Not serious because affidavit for warrant didn't mention nuclear secrets.
30. Nothing illegal was happening, it was only about documents.
31. Trump is not stupid enough to have committed such a crime
32. Liz Cheney went back in time after losing the primary to order the FBI to raid Trump

Follow the money...

Jan. 6 committee will dig in on the money behind the riot, Kinzinger says

The House committee investigating Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol will dig in on the financing behind the riot and present its findings in future public hearings or in its final report, Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., said Sunday.

Asked on NBC News' "Meet the Press" to detail some of the "missing pieces" that would be revealed in September, the lawmaker told host Chuck Todd, “I think one of the more intriguing things is going to be some of the financing.

"The fact that a vast majority of this money was raised under ‘Stop the Steal,’ with no intention of doing anything to stop the so called stop the steal," Kinzinger said, in reference to fundraising related to a pro-Trump rally that immediately preceded the Capitol riot. “It was all about raising money and people were abused that way."

They raised "hundreds of millions of dollars from supporters who were told their donations are for the legal fight in the courts. But the Trump campaign didn't use the money for that. The Big Lie was also a big rip-off," Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-Cali, another panel member, has said.

Kinzinger indicated the committee will also dig deeper into the erased Secret Service text messages.
