If you are between the ages of 35 and 45, you ****ing love Brosnan entirely because GoldenEye on N64 was groundbreaking. His movies were somewhere between decent (Goldeneye) and hot garbage. The World is Not Enough was so bad that Denise Richards soaking wet for nearly the entire film couldn’t save it. Edit: PB is drinking and has opinions. Spectre while ok, was a disappointment. Daniel's best Bonds were Casino Royale and Skyfall. Hopefully, "No Time to Die" gives Daniel a proper send off. I wonder, if they will still try do a Bond for 2022, the 60th anniversary? They can hire the new Bond by the summer of 2021. visionary Posted April 4, 2020 Share Posted April 4, 2020 (edited) Played a lot of Plaguetale yesterday. Beautiful, dark, fun, touching, horrifying game. Occasionally very frustrating and makes you want to scream at the computer. (Although I was playing on the tv). Back into Red Dead Redemption 2 today. There’s just so much to do in the game and it’s insanely immersive and fun and depressing at times seeing things unravel and constant horrible decisions being made. Finished up Kim’s Convenience tonight and started back on Witcher (the episode with the djin) Also spent a lot of time cleaning up around the house and making food. Dad is back tomorrow from Maryland and though he didn’t interact with anyone other than when he got his shot, mom is sleeping in an upstairs bedroom for the next couple days or so just in case. Oddly there was a storyline about the husband and wife doing something similar in one of the episodes of Kim’s Convenience we saw tonight. It’s the only prestige Bond film, a movie that tries to be more than just a Bond movie, and imo it succeeds. It has a terrific score and Bond song with Adele at the peak of her power, some outstanding cinematography, it analyzes the character more than any other has and to a degree we have not seen before. It breaks Bond down and humanizes him. We learn Bonds past, see his fears, his failures, his battle with existentialism. It has a great cast led by Craig, Dench and Bardem who is an all-time Bond villain. M’s story concludes in a really nice and heartfelt way and we get to the the Surrogate mother relationship she’s had with Bond finally truly materialize. All that wrapped inside a kickass personal Bond story with some awesome set pieces and callbacks to the classic Bond it is outstanding.
