Frame anyone that opposes a popular relief bill as harming the good men and women of America. Preferably with a flag behind you while an eagle circles proudly over head. Absolutely everyone saw that coming. RMoney lost all credibility on this when he suggested the $1K payment as though that would make a dent in most people's monthly obligations, let alone for duration of this incident. Since corporations are people too, maybe they can get by on that same $1K payment just like the rest of the "people" in this country affected by this. 10 hours ago, Hersh said: I feel bad for rural American because I'm not a cold-hearted ****, but this is what happens when you repeatedly vote for a party that doesn't give a **** about health care. White rural people have no one to blame but themselves for that. It's happening in NC. They've got plenty of bootstraps. They can pull themselves up. 9 hours ago, Cooked Crack said: "A lot of people are saying herd immunity might be what we need" OK, who let @CousinsCowgirl84 into the WH? 3

ixcuincle
This crisis isn't even close to over and the suggestion that the guidelines should be eased up is asinine. We are in for a long period of distancing.

spjunkies
This is the absolute worst time to have a narcissistic chief executive, he doesn't get or give a **** about the harm he's about to create. He's safe in his little bubble so why should he give a damn about anyone else?

No Excuses
Emerging data from New Orleans and swaths of Florida is not encouraging. The lack of inaction by DeSantis is almost hard to fathom. The entire state functioned as a petri dish of contamination for up to two weeks with no control.

No Excuses
It's completely insane that he's talking about opening up society when there's more and more emerging evidence that outbreak centers are EXPANDING throughout the country. It's really, really sad to watch decades of intellectual rot in conservative politics play out in this crisis.

There hasn't been a single thing during this entire administration (And to a lesser degree, the last 40 years), where the response has been anything other than simply lie about it. 3 minutes ago, spjunkies said: I'm wondering if this will be enough to have congress consider removing him, he's a danger to American people at this point. Save for the dumbest people in this country, it should be obvious to anyone with a brain that a reality TV celebrity shouldn't be in charge of matters of national life and death.

He rules by 'gut instinct' - the same 'gut instinct' that thought an airline, steaks, & vodka bearing his name would appeal to the masses. Why isn't there a meeting of top business people, top economic advisers, etc. - not affiliated with this administration or the Democratic party - providing plans & ideas on the correct economic path to follow? On the Senate bill - why the **** can't they name a bi-partisan group to manage the distribution of the money? Giving any 1 person associated with this administration will lead to what we all already know - distribution based on GOP loyalties & donations. FFS, someone, anyone - step up to the plate and do the right ****ing thing.
