Romney’s reaction to the senate vote is such an old trick that it’s essentially entry level politics.  Frame anyone that opposes a popular relief bill as harming the good men and women of America.  Preferably with a flag behind you while an eagle circles proudly over head.

Absolutely everyone saw that coming.

RMoney lost all credibility on this when he suggested the $1K payment as though that would make a dent in most people's monthly obligations, let alone for duration of this incident. Since corporations are people too, maybe they can get by on that same $1K payment just like the rest of the "people" in this country affected by this.

I feel bad for rural American because I'm not a cold-hearted ****, but this is what happens when you repeatedly vote for a party that doesn't give a **** about health care. White rural people have no one to blame but themselves for that. It's happening in NC.

They've got plenty of bootstraps. They can pull themselves up.

Those who were standing in line for guns and ammo are gonna introduce themselves to their governor for not blindly following their dear leader

Can you imagine him saying that and then schools still being closed for another month or more?

The lack of consistent messaging could get people killed.

If he eases guidance but state governors don’t. What will take place?

White House Occupant throws a tantrum spewing outrageous lies (even for him), Pence has an hour long public speech with unending praise of White House Occupant, Dr.Fauci publicly rebukes the idiocy of the administration & refuses to appear on screen with them

WHAT. ARE. WE. DOING???

 <edit tweet pic per rule>

trump admin feels it's ok to let a those people die that will die vs crippling the economy to further extent by playing it in a way that saves most lives but costs more business.....that simple... this is how they, and franklyy many folks in real or imagined positions of privilege/strength see the equation

they think the number of deaths in  the end (not concerned that much on just the many more sick who recover) is worth enduring rather than the extended damage to the economy and imagined weakening of their grasp on power and have all kinds of ways to justify that thinking,...i'm sure most of you can build some of their arguments in your mind

Non-compliance even more spectacular that what we've got now.

Which means disease reduction even less than what we're seeing now.

(And "what we're seeing now" is "reduction?  What's that?")

It's completely insane that he's talking about opening up society when there's more and more emerging evidence that outbreak centers are EXPANDING throughout the country. It's really, really sad to watch decades of intellectual rot in conservative politics play out in this crisis.

I'm wondering if this will be enough to have congress consider removing him, he's a danger to American people at this point.

Facts are simply things to be countered by our spin machine.

There hasn't been a single thing during this entire administration (And to a lesser degree, the last 40 years), where the response has been anything other than simply lie about it.

Congress is actively going along with it.

His removal will be the election. Save for the dumbest people in this country, it should be obvious to anyone with a brain that a reality TV celebrity shouldn't be in charge of matters of national life and death.

The Stable Genius cannot accept outside information on anything. He rules by 'gut instinct' - the same 'gut instinct' that thought an airline, steaks, & vodka bearing his name would appeal to the masses.

Why isn't there a meeting of top business people, top economic advisers, etc. - not affiliated with this administration or the Democratic party - providing plans & ideas on the correct economic path to follow?

On the Senate bill - why the **** can't they name a bi-partisan group to manage the distribution of the money? Giving any 1 person associated with this administration will lead to what we all already know - distribution based on GOP loyalties & donations. FFS, someone, anyone - step up to the plate and do the right ****ing thing.
