If you say Trump won't botch the Coronavirus crisis, let Americans die & try to cover it up, you've forgotten about Puerto Rico.

Trump only cares how it affect his reelection.

He’s desperately trying to stem off a recession.  Running for reelection during a recession is usually what defeats incumbent Presidents. See Carter and Bush I.

As for the human toll, he doesn’t care unless it affects his voters. He could care less if Democratic areas are affected. The less of them, the better in his mind.

Hopefully, he has been exposed to it and if gets it; let him suffer the consequences.

So there's no cure for covid-19, but how are the symptoms treated?  I assume you are not simply told to go home, quarantine, and take Tylenol cold & flu tablets with mucinex?

the mild symptoms yes, for severe they are using a antiviral ****tail.

some that have been used for Sars and HIV ect.

there are a number of drug trials ongoing to find the best combo and protocols.

they are also deciding best practices on intubations specific to this

Puerto Rico botched Puerto Rico. There was an entire warehouse of supplies sitting unused because the local Govt was so ineffective.

Bad example..

Actually sounds like a well thought out response to limit spread.

seems a bit tame

The state did not plan to close streets or implement travel restrictions, Mr. Cuomo said.

“You’re not containing people,” he said. “You’re containing facilities.”

Has anyone seen any estimates when the US will reach peak? UK is saying in the next couple of weeks and after that it will be on the decline, but how is that without a vaccine and relatively easy ongoing transmittal?

China, not that they are likely to be the most reliable source, are claiming no new cases from domestic infection. Now they're claiming the recent sources are people who picked it up in Italy.

Many US events are being cancelled in the next few weeks, especially on the west coast. Is there good reason to think events at the end of April or in May will be OK?
