NoVaSkins21
One way or another this series ends in Houston. The question is will the bats wake up or not when it does

And I think he'll take home WS MVP.
Bacon
We win tonight with Max on the mound and we're feeling hopeful again with Strasburg giving us a chance to bring it all home. We lose and, well, we still get to see Strasburg pitch one more time.

Sticksboi05
Remember folks, winning your first isn't supposed to be easy. The Capitals beat Pittsburgh and then took first two on the road vs. Tampa, best team in the NHL. People thought they'd cruise to the SCF ... until they lost the next 3 and then dug deep to win the last two. Let's not quit on these guys until the FAT LADY HAS SUNG. bearrock
It's like time is standing still today. I predict Max and Stras sweep to clinch the series.

bcl05
I imagine that Max’s arm must be gangrenous and in a box somewhere for him to willingly be scratched. I hope he’s ok.

Warhead36
This is where Ross pitches a gem similar to Ross Detwiler in Game 4 of the 2012 NLDS. #believe
skinfan2k
this is one of those things where the team wins one for Max.

Commander -JB-
I think that Davey has confidence we can win one of the next two and have Stras for game 7. Ballsy, but I like it! As long as Max ain’t hurt!
Voice_of_Reason
The only explanation for this is there were not enough ritual sacrifices, and SOMEBODY changed underwear when they weren't supposed to. That's the ONLY explanation.
stoshuaj
Welp, tickets are available and prices are going down. What the hell, to the well one more time. Let’s go Nats........please.
Idaho fan
Basically a best of 3 at this point with Max and Stras starting two of those. Chances are good but need offense to help out.
NoVaSkins21
It's a MUST to score first otherwise it's uphill battle and that plan has already been executed to perfection by the Astros. Not having Max sucks but Joe Ross isn't some nobody. True Nats fans know that he's a very capable pitcher. Small sample size but he's already shown that he can get guys out in this series. Hopefully he's got some of that same stuff tonight. Their guy delivered some big innings yesterday and hopefully it's Ross' turn to do the same tonight. Here's hoping for the best and let's see what happens. Edited October 27, 2019 by SAli457180
