Why am I Mr. Pink?
Just now, Hersh said: North Dakota Senator...There really should be a national debate as to why the Dakotas are two states instead of one. She is the Dem most likely to lose in the midterms. Might not be the only one, just the most likely. 755,393 = population of N Dakota 39,540,000 = population of California 2 = number of Senators for each Makes no ****ing sense at all.

visionary
Seems pretty bad that they hardly interviewed anyone from Yale, didn’t talk to Kav or Ford and didn’t bother with the third allegation or supporting witnesses at all.

Hersh
Lots of reporting about how McConnell views having a conservative court for another generation is his legacy. Too bad for him he won't be writing the history books.

Because it was a background check investigation and not a criminal one. If any of the accusers had filed police reports, the police could have gone to the FBI (in theory they could have gone in without local pd asking as well) and asked them to do a criminal investigation. Nobody wanted to hear this though.

Representatives: California = 53 North Dakota = 1 It does make sense. The point of the Senate is to keep large states from steamrolling legislation over smaller states in the House. Kilmer17
https://www.weeklystandard.com/john-mccormack/how-jeff-flakes-one-week-delay-helped-clear-brett-kavanaughs-name How Jeff Flake's One-Week Delay Helped Clear Brett Kavanaugh's Name When Arizona Republican senator Jeff Flake insisted on an additional one-week delay of the Kavanaugh confirmation vote in order to allow the FBI to conduct a supplemental background-check investigation into allegations of sexual assault, many Republicans feared that it would accomplish nothing other than provide time for more people to smear Kavanaugh with new false allegations. In fact, the delay has actually helped clear Kavanaugh’s name. FBI investigation turns up no groundbreaking information? Shortly after 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, Democratic senators Dianne Feinstein and Chuck Schumer spoke to the press following a confidential briefing about the FBI's supplemental background check. While the senators were limited about what they could say, Feinstein focused first on the fact that neither Kavanaugh nor Ford, who testified publicly for hours last week, were interviewed by the FBI. If the FBI investigation had turned up some groundbreaking new information, that is not the kind of thing you’d expect the Democratic senators to focus on. The FBI interviewed all the alleged party attendees—Ford’s lifelong female friend Leland Ingham Keyser, Kavanaugh friend P.J. Smyth, and alleged accomplice Mark Judge. Keyser had previously said she recalls no party at which Kavanaugh was present and does not know Kavanaugh. Schumer and Feinstein gave no indication Keyser has changed her story.

NoCalMike
I really wish some of these articles were more careful with how they are worded. When the headline is "FBI ignored" or "FBI didn't" it needs to be stated with some kind of verification (or at the least some kind of attempt verification) that the FBI was being handcuffed or at least being told what they could/couldn't ask about and who they were allowed to interview. I don't like the way it is being painted as if this is the FBI's fault for "not turning up something" when the obvious conclusion is that this investigation, if you can call it that, was planned from the start to not turn up anything. 2
