When you are the local government aka. The custodian of the information re: previous election, yes. Like I get a private citizen tweeting a tidbit without extra context/info. But a government presumably has all that info at their fingertips. At least pin a tweet with 2013 numbers so we can easily compare them. Fairfax as of 5pm is now tied with 2013 numbers overall. That is, every vote from here on out is beyond what 2013 had %wise. Was saying earlier if 5pm in-person numbers were 38% or above, expect to beat 2013 by at least a couple percent. Not unreasonable to expect 50% at this point. Might even see 51 or 52% total between in-person and absentee.

By this point I know that a MS-13 gang member is going to chop my head off geeeesh Is it messed up that when he started running I wondered if a gay Republican can win a race for Governor? I honestly thought there was an advisor to GWB who was gay, not that there is anything wrong with him being gay. Just seemed weird given his politics. DogofWar1
Exit poll, so up your sodium intake, but if accurate would bode well for Northam.

DogofWar1
Chesterfield looks a little low (37% now without absentee, around 49% in 2013). Chesterfield generally goes red but margins matter. If Chesterfield ends up 45ish but it's all in Gillespie's direction, could be good for him and help him make up some ffx deficit. However, if any drop is even across the two candidates then ffx boosted turnout helps Northam. And of course if lower turnout hurts Rs there, which I find unlikely but it's possible, then Northam has a major advantage.
Renegade7
I don't feel great about the only person I voted for on my ballot being governor. Past elections I made the time, even if I didn't find anything of note, on the policies of the people running for different offices.

Forehead
So because people have been bringing up the ads...my wife and I know the woman in one of Gillespie's ads, Heather Steele. I knew she was conservative, but didn't realize it was enough that she wanted to be in a commercial calling Northam out for restoring felon rights/child porn. I haven't decided whether or not to say anything to her if Northam wins. Oh also, not sure where LSF votes, but I had an unchallenged D for state Senate on my ballot as well. PleaseBlitz
Im following 538. More context than just the raw numbers. Per their live chat: Nearly half the precincts are reporting in Loudon County. Although Gillespie didn’t need to win it in order to win statewide, he needed to be competitive. He’s down 18 points.
