He needs to run up the margin here to win VA. It is also good for down ballot House delegates. There are real gains that Dems can make in VA House districts with a big turnout in NoVA. Right. NoVa historically goes for the democrat and has a huge population. If Northam can ring up big numbers there, it's good news.

ixcuincle
**** both northam and gillespie on my TV 24/7 complaining about how JOHN SO AND SO OWNED ONE OF THE LARGEST CHILD PORN ARCHIVES IN THE STATE OF VIRGINIA AND HOW NORTHAM LIKES HIM or how ENRON ED IS NOT IN YOUR BEST INTERESTS while he opens his ad holding a baby Both are deplorables Thankful this election is finally over because it's been WAY too negative. "Go vote for them" I can't I don't live in VA I just watch your ****ing ads and rage at how they were played ad nauseum during the Seahawks game. Every single break. I'M RALPH NORTHAM AND I'M RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR ENRON ED DO YOU TRUST HIM JOHN HAD ONE OF THE LARGEST CHILD PORN ARCHIVES IN THE STATE OF VIRGINIA ugh it drives me MAD
No Excuses
I'm paying close attention to House delegate races in Loudoun. Local Republicans losing would be really bad news for Barbara Comstock, the US House rep from VA-10. Just now, ixcuincle said: **** both northam and gillespie Go kick rocks then. Man you would be livid if you had your programming interrupted by these ****ing ignorant negative ads. Anyone coming to a conclusion of "both sides suck" out of this campaign, I have nothing nice to say to you. If you liked Gillespie's message, fine. If you liked Northam's, good. But what is truly at stake is fair redistricting in Virginia at the time of the next census in 2020, which ensures what kind of political representation we get in VA right into 2030. This is a hugely important election for the near future of the state. Low information non-voters like you are the absolute worst.

DogofWar1
Absentee was about 6.6% (45k). So 37.2% total. 2013 was at 46.8% total. I don't know how many people will go after work but usually that's a pretty significant number, I would assume. If Fairfax beats 2013 numbers that would go a long way towards Northam having a very good shot.
LadySkinsFan
The House race in my district only had a Democrat running. That's interesting because I see a lot of Republicans running unopposed.

I can tell you first hand how quickly the GOP will look to **** the entire state of VA if they control redistricting. What we've experienced here in NC is a cluster **** in which we are still having maps redrawn because the GOP keeps violating the law. Finally we have an outside source through the courts drawing maps here but the damage to the state has already been done in a lot of ways.
