This is an important nugget to go along with Senate Intel confirming Russians had power to delete voters:

This should be a much bigger story than it is.

I also fear we will never get anything officially on record because that would scare so many people.

that should be a HUGE story.

It should be in big bold type on every paper in the country.

"In a position to delete or alter votes" means they DID.

Unless our oh-so-bright GOP wants us to believe they wouldn't do it even though they spent enough time to put themselves in position.

IMO, its why so many Republicans are not running for re-election. Someone tapped them on the shoulder and said, "you going to jail so fall back."

I think it's more a case of them knowing that Trump (and them) have pulled the "self destruct lever" on the country, and they want to get out before the countdown timer gets to zero (and hope that they can establish an alibi).

Or maybe it's just a case of them seeing just how much they'll have to debase themselves, to remain in power.  (But that would suppose that they had any integrity at all, and recent performance proves that theory untrue.)

Didn't the previous administration assure us it did not happen?

Are you interested in whether or not our country is safe, or just making little tiny insignificant partisan jabs like this?

Not sure who this one is, but go get Nikita. He's got more fire.

This article links to the House Dems site, with downloads of zip files containing lots of pdfs of the ads. Some are just the text of the ads, but they show data about the creator, the creation date, how much it cost, clicks on the ad, target audience etc. Kind of interesting. I think you probably need to be on a computer to download and look at them though. Some fairly big downloads.

This is the actual House Dems page with the download links: https://democrats-intelligence.house.gov/facebook-ads/social-media-advertisements.htm

Here in the news biz, we have received a lot of new directives and laws to open up transparency about political ad buyers. Most of what we do in Southern MD won't have much to do with it since mostly we cover smaller local races that do not rely on outside funding sources like PACs..., but the national congressional and senate races, we have to be very careful.

twa’s new found skepticism of political wrong doing is absolutely adorable.

As he goes to sleep every night, quietly whispering “IRS, Lois Lerner, Fast and Furious, Benghazi. IRS, Lois Lerner, Fast and Furious, Benghazi. IRS, Lois Lerner, Fast and Furious, Benghazi. IRS, Lois Lerner, Fast and Furious, Benghazi... benghazi.... benghaziiii... bengh...”.

They were going off the intel they had at the time.

Do we have intel NOW that shows changes made?

In position to does not equal did, and it should be easily verifiable
