I think he's going to be a PH type while he works on his RF defense. He can't be worst than Trumbo. The average ES poster is likely better at running down a baseball than Trumbo. Yea, we all know why it exists (in case of rain), but it is SUCH a tease to have a game, get a nice win and then have to wait 48 hours for the next one. He just turned 25 and while I agree with you regarding the baffling moves, it's tough to argue with the results Davis (power numbers and gold glove caliber defense) and Trumbo (47 HR and 108 RBIs) put up. Maybe he can become a serviceable corner outfielder or maybe Trumbo becomes trade bait next off-season. I know he will have some bad outings because only Clayton Kershaw doesn't in the regular season, but damn he was awesome tonight. Really liking Castillo behind the plate. Thought he called a great game and Bundy gave him a lot of compliments after the game.
