Sure. Updated. Maybe it's a communist radical. You think it is?

That's what I'm going with. The hills and hollows around Chattanooga are filled with pissed off commies

In all seriousness, I'm going to go with his motivation as "crazy asshole"

Prayers to those affected. Another tragedy at the hands of someone with no regard for live. Very sad

Well there was that guy in Ohio...but luckily a lot of those types are idiots prone to outing themselves before they get up to anything too serious.

We'll have to see just what this guy's motivation is of course and what his story is.  I saw somewhere that he was a local.

Well I was hopeful after initial reports that this latest lunatic hadn't managed to kill anyone but clearly he has. Terrible. Heart goes out to families that suddenly find themselves in a nightmare because some stupid piece of **** fell for some extremist bull****.

The Latest: Official identifies gunman in Tennessee shooting

A U.S. official says the gunman in the shootings in Tennessee has been identified as 24-year-old Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez.

He was believed to have been born in Kuwait, and it was unclear whether he was a U.S. or Kuwaiti citizen. The official was speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss the ongoing, sensitive investigation. It was not immediately clear whether the gunman's first name was spelled Muhammad or Mohammad.

He is from Hixson, Tennessee, which is just a few miles across the river from Chattanooga.

Authorities and officials say the gunman killed four Marines and wounded a police officer and others in two attacks on military facilities. The gunman was also dead.

Four Marines and gunman killed in Tennessee shooting that officials call ‘domestic terrorism’

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2015/07/16/authorities-investigating-reports-of-shooting-in-tennessee/

excerpts

“We will treat this as a terrorism investigation until we determine it was not,” he said. He added: “We have not determined if it was an act of terrorism or a criminal act.”

Reinhold said that the shooting appeared to be the work of a lone gunman, who he said was from the area or at least lived in the area. This gunman, who did not work at either facility, had “numerous weapons” on him, Reinhold said, and was not wearing body armor.

The shooting is being viewed as “an act of domestic terrorism,” U.S. Attorney William C. Killian said. However, Killian said the investigation would bear out precisely what kind of crime this was, cautioning people not to get caught up in the label.

This is tragic and disgusting. The wacko is a naturalized U.S. Citizen originally from Kuwait.

We just prevented the same kind of terrorist attack a few days ago. The guys were planning to attack a military base, capture the officer cut his head off and put the film on the internet in memory of the Charlie Hebdo barbarians.

Just find it odd to bring politics into something no one even knew the facts about... just purely on speculation until now. And I would not scold anyone to be honest... but I can see how it looks that way on an online forum as opposed to in person.
