ES Coverage & Interactive Game Day Thread: 2012 Redskins vs Ravens (Final)

No, please, that's just silly. Your posting has nothing to do with the outcome of the game. It's the faith and effort given by the coaches and players that bring about these kind of games and it's the fans who stick with them through thick and thin that get to enjoy these outcomes the most. Please understand that.

It's time for the negative among us to stop making excuses for their attitudes. A new era of Redskin football has arrived thanks to the Shanahan's, thank God.

I'm not saying I effect the outcome of games, obviously. It just makes me feel better.

Hence, superstition. I am just as excited as you are, and I love the Shanahans more than anyone. I still stick with them and watch every single game down to the final tick, if I didn't I would have left after the Ray Rice TD.

I was just saying it helps me cope with the stress and makes my mind feel a little more at ease when I hope them to prove me wrong. I am not that egotistical to think that what I say and think effects the universe and how it unfolds. :)

Shanahan is saying post-game PC that RG3 wanted to go back into the game, so that is a good sign.

im sorry, that means nothing to me Mike. plenty of guys get injured and want to return because of pride, heart, and adrenaline, but that doesnt change the fact that their body part is potentially mangled.

He says he will have an MRI either tonight or tomorrow.

sadly means almost nothing because a tear isn't dehabilitating in the sense that a broken leg is so in his mind he could play. :(

Well, we don't know the exact circumstances, but if Shanahan is feeling a little positive, than I feel a little positive about it too. :)

Think positive. :)

RG3 only has a sprain as reported... so thats a good sign that this is only temporary.

That'd be great, but Im very skeptical of a diagnosis that soon.. Let me hear it tomorrow afternoon, after a battery of MRI's and what not and I'll be dancin on the rooftop!!
