  1. If Odalipo can play SF I would take him even if we had the 1st overall selection, I think he is a complete beast and I love watching him, he will be a great player in the NBA. I also obviously like Otto Porter and would be excited to have him on board with us, I like his offensive game and of course the rebounds, which are very good considering he is about 19 years old. He could add some weight to his frame and beef up for the NBA but besides that he looks like a homerun pick. Shabazz and Noel is where things get interesting. Shabazz is a volume scorer with I think a bit of a selfish/ego disposition to him, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Teams want a guy who wants the ball at the end of the game and they want a guy who can step up and also have unwavering confidence in himself, which describes Shabazz to a T (MJ and Kobe have the exact same mentality, it's what winners naturally possess). I wouldn't call Shabazz a chucker in the vein of Crawford or Young, because his FG% is pretty decent, especially from 3. I wouldn't be torn up about picking him since it would give this team a new found offensive game. I think Shabazz is a gamble, to be honest. He could be really good or really bad, in general. Noel just tore an ACL, and he also needs to add strength to his frame because he is pretty lanky for his size right now. He has great potential and it is very rare to get a defensive big man with his skill set, even if he will never really be an offensive juggernaut. My rankings for our short list would be: 1. Victor Oladipo 2. Otto Porter 3. Nerlens Noel 4. Shabazz Muhammad 5. Ben McLemore 6. Anthony Bennett We shouldn't fall below 6th in the draft posistion.
  2. This team is really improving, I have to say. Beal and especially Wall make a huge difference. Obviously.
  3. Nobody can blow a 4th quarter lead like the Wizards. I mean I am not even trying to be that guy, we just always do it.
  4. Beal and Wall are amazing. It's incredible how much Beal has improved over this season.
  5. Our rebounding is completely terrible, we blew a 15 point lead in like 2 minutes. Crawford always tries to play hero and ends up start chucking shots. Maybe that's why our tickets are 21 cents a piece on stubhub. This team will never be good.
  6. I just don't see it with Beal guys, 15 ppg on 44% shooting on 34 minutes per game seems a bit underachieving. Only 34% from 3 point mark. I will admit I am not really a college basketball guru, can someone explain the hype, I know his form is comparable to Ray Allen but it seems that is where it ends. He has good intangibles and defensive skills but I just don't see this whole "best shooter in the draft". I'm not hating or being that guy, legitimately curious.
  7. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe one of our starters we recently traded for was picked in the 2nd round. I would call that contributing.
  8. Might as well make a pick that has a 5% chance of being good that makes sense, instead of a 1% chance of being good in like 4 years (not to mention apparently he can't shoot which is exactly what we don't need). If we go into the mentality that we should throw away our late round picks then we should probably just mail it in as a franchise and get a loser tattoo on our metaphorical foreheads.
  9. Why? Euros never work out, ever. Waste of a pick, much better talent was left on the board.
  10. You know you are getting old when there are players in the NBA draft that are younger than you... I'm a geezer now...
  11. Wizards should take Thomas Robinson, I'm not sold on Beal 100%. MKG is good but not a real good fit, we should go BPA.
  12. My bad, in my defense sarcasm doesn't travel well through text. And I have definitely heard crazier more serious proposals on ES before.
  13. Why would we ship off Nene to add a player we don't need and that will surely look to get out of the city at his earliest convenience? You realize we have Wall right? And Yao can't stay healthy and so he retired, so I really doubt he would come out of retirement to play for the Wizards.
  14. In the NBA ALWAYS pick the BPA, and never trade down. Let's hope we do that tomorrow.
  15. Yeah Nah, I was glad we didn't go full Oregeon on our gear, even though I LOVE Maryland's uniforms and like Oregeons, the Redskins have too much tradition to go all swagged out on their uniforms, it seems more fitting for college anyways. I just don't like the mustard yellow, it can have as much tradition as it wants, still doesn't make it look good to the eye. I like deeper colours, and I just can't stand bright mustard yellow pants or helmets.
  16. Maybe it's weird as a Redskins fan but I absolutely despise the color gold on our uniforms...
  17. I've seen about like 30 players this season drop 23 points or more on us this year, I don't know why when Lin does it I need to hear about it every waking hour on ESPN and from other people, it wasn't like he dropped 40 or 50, he is a good player but I am just tired of hearing about him for the past week, he has been solid but not that spectacular, John Wall out played him anyways. I just am annoyed how a New York player can score 23 points on the worst defense in the league and then I have to hear about him all day and all night, it's just played. He has played 3 teams with a combined record of 26-50, it's not like he's an MVP canidate, if he were doing this for Golden State or something no one would even care.
  18. Imagine Anthony Davis to John Wall, this team can turn around pretty quickly if you get a star in place in about 2 seasons, look at what the Clippers did, from 1st overall pick to Contenders in a year because free agents want to go there. JaVale McGee has all the talent in the world, he is an athletic freak and blocks 3 balls per game, he is just so unaware, not even like stupid, just absent minded which leads to mistakes, which usually adds to Wall's turnover count. I don't think he will turn into an aware high basketball IQ player ever, I think this is what you get, a talented player who is athletically gifted but is just not the smartest dude when it comes to basketball. I'm not saying he is stupid or like retarded or anything, he just needs to put more focus into his game, I too have trouble focusing on things too so I can understand. John Wall is really playing well this year, problem is he will have a game where he is just completely cold and shoot like 1/12 or 2/14 which really kills him. He REALLY needs some support around him, this team is abysmal and I really don't know why. JaVale is talented, Young is talented, Vesely and Singleton are promising and not too bad for rookies. Well, I am just glad I don't have to run this team. Please bring on Drummond or Davis next year and hope that John Wall won't bolt for Los Angeles, New York, or Boston. P.S Jeremy Lin is so overrated right now it isn't even funny.
  19. Young needs to stop his dumb fadeaways in the clutch, we get a turnover and he kills it with a dumb turn around fadeaway, we needed a high percentage shot there.
  20. This team is so unclutch, Wall is pretty clutch though, but really McGee, Booker, Young?
  21. firstrowsports.eu They took down the American one because of copyrights and such, but the Euro one isn't being taken down because they have much looser laws on copyright and stuff.
