Hubbs
That was the old glitch that when a mod posts, sometimes the thread closes. Somewhere, Sarge and MSF are saying, "I knew it!!"

88Comrade2000
Good thing this debate ends in 15 minutes. I think the debate is a draw. Thing is, if anything, Romney probably turned off some voters by the way he behaved in this debate. His interrupting will turn off alot of voters. That could be the difference. I honestly don't see Romney changing the dynamics of the race and those dynamics are that Obama has a lead almost all swing states. The race favors a electoral landslide for Obama. No Excuses
Has anyone actually learned anything new tonight? I haven't. Incredibly boring.
Jumbo
Typical religious politician acting like agnostics and atheists don't exist in "his" country. Is it that hard to say "we are a nation of all kinds of beliefs" and leave it at that?

thebluefood
Has anyone actually learned anything new tonight? I haven't. Not really. Romney did much better, as far as his debating is concerned, did better than I thought he would.
abdcskins
I like the idea of maintaining the strength of America's military. There's only two things I really care about: the environment and keeping our country safe. Seems like Romney is answering the role of government question better. ixcuincle
Obama's offense today is as impotent as a Jim Zorn Redskins offense. Didn't call the big plays or deep balls. Didn't call "47% gut right" or "Bain 42" Was not impressed by his playcalling today
@DCGoldPants
No Bain, No 47% or Offshore Accounts. That's not by mistake.
Unforgiven
Yeah, both sides will claim victory on this. I think it actually was a draw (thus far), which was better than I expected for Romney to be honest. The problem for Romney is that simply drawing on debates isn't going to help him win. Elessar78
I think he's saving that in case Romney ends up "winning" this debate. But I'm hardly impressed by Obama tonight. He's like a stuttering fool out there.
Unforgiven
No Bain, No 47% or Offshore Accounts. That's not by mistake. Yeah, just like the commercial you let Romney's own words hurt him on the 47% issue. There isn't any need to jump into that. If someone hasn't heard that story/tape by now then they just don't care and probably aren't watching this.
ixcuincle
No Bain, No 47% or Offshore Accounts. That's not by mistake. Shouldn't he open up the playbook? Or do you think this is like a pre-season game where he isn't showing his playbook or his type of offense yet?

dg28daman
Not trying to be off topic but I just gotta say how amazing both of these guys are that they can stand up in front of the entire country and debate on their feet like this. i'm a damn good public speaker, but I think i'd be stuttering like a moron if I got up there. Its incredible how polished these guys are.

88Comrade2000
Has anyone actually learned anything new tonight? I haven't. Unforgiven
There we go, one of his planned zingers! "You're entitled to your own housing and your own airplane but not your own facts!" That didn't seem planned at all. (Probably shouldn't be using entitled a lot after the 47% tape though..)
