When he's on he's on but when he's not he's really off. Inconsistency isn't something you want to see out of a franchise QB.
BatteredFanSyndrome
Inconsistency is something you see with nearly every franchise quarterback. We all want Rodgers or Brady but we cannot have them.
BRAVEONTHEWARPATH93
So how about we don't pay out the ass for someone that isn't Rodgers or Brady??
Redd
I'll settle for a Wilson or a Rothleisberger.

Got it. You cannot possibly watch the rest of the league play. What about a healthy DeSean Jackson, a healthy Pierre Garcon, a healthy Jamison Crowder, a healthy Jordan Reed, a healthy Vernon Davis, and an offensive line that was among the best at pass blocking? Oh, the second half of 2016 didn't happen, it was all just one game. Got it.

They gave him a rookie QB gameplan and he almost couldn't pull it off. That miss to Thompson was awful. Today was about the run game, defense, and Cousins not screwing up. He did make the TD pass, but even that third and six... why on earth are you passing four yards down the field when there are three guys surrounding Crowder? Warhead36
He was Eli today. Ass for 3.5 quarters, clutch on the final drive.
zoony
Im not sure Kirk did enough today to silence criticism, but he did enough to win. The td pass to grant was clutch. Also, if chris thompson doesnt drop that wide open waggle that might have been a long TD
BRAVEONTHEWARPATH93
He was definitely trash throughout but gotta give him credit for that throw. we're still a bad team and bad offense

The run game showed that, Crowder showed that when he actually saw the ball.
Veryoldschool
Skin won a game, the team won a game not the QB and receivers carrying the team to victory the team ran, defended as well as passed to victory. Nice win.
The Slamming Butcher
My opinion remains unchanged. Cousins has looked really good in the past mainly because of the talent surrounding him. He's just a dude. NO WAY is he worth $20 mil +
zoony
That screen to crowder that was high and almost got crowder killed... watch it again, if kirk delivers that ball correctly that would have been another huge play. Perfect play call
clskinsfan
I am as anti signing Kirk to a long term deal as anyone on here. But I will not kill a QB of my team when he a leads a game winning drive. Yes he struggled throughout the game. But HE WON. And that is really all that matters in the end. On to his next self imposed audition.

I still have all of my problems with the dude and then some but he did enough to win the day. We won't always be playing the Rams, but a win is a win in the NFL. Rex Tomb
He missed some key passes that would have made this a much less tense game. He also missed a few wide OPEN receivers (Fred Davis on that 3rd down WR screen to Crowder). Not a fan of breaking the bank on the guy in the slightest. Thompson had some great plays today so he gets a mulligan. Cousins tossed the winning TD. I guess he gets a mulligan too.
