samy316
For those of you at work, how much time are you allowed per year? I get 4 weeks PTO plus 2 weeks Sick Leave. If we do not use up all our PTO time by the end of the year, we can transfer up to 40 hrs of PTO on top of next years time.
Ellis
2 weeks vacation (10 work days) a yr that can be used any way I wish.
AsburySkinsFan
Two weeks per year (including 2 Sundays) for my first 5 years, then three after that. My sick leave is pretty flexible though.

Popeman38
15 vacation days, 7 personal days, and unlimited* sick leave *HR determines when to investigate. There is a guy in my office who is out at least 1 day/week. Nothing has happened to him - yet.

Riggins77
Been at my company 10 years in May, right now I get 16 hours per month (2 days) up to a cap, cant remember the total, something like 300 hours. Once you hit the cap, you don't earn any more PTO, but everything carries over year to year. So I earn 24 days a year which is almost 5 weeks of vacation per year. In May, it ups to 19.5 hours per month (2.5 days). Life is good!
Pick6
For me and all Federal employees it is 4 hours of annual and 4 hours of sick leave a paycheck (every two weeks). Once I hit April 13 this year I will go up to 6 hours annual a paycheck. Once you hit 15 years as a Federal employee it goes up to 8 hours of leave. Sick leave never changes from 4 hours. sacase
19 days a year plus 14 sick leave, soon to be 26 days a year. Don't know what I am going to do with it all since I am already in use or lose, we can bank 240 hour, but we got to use the rest. We can save unlimited sick leave. Bang
None.. I freelance. This also means I can take as mch time as i want when I want. But I haven't taken much. I can get away for a weekend, 3 or 4 days here and there, but if i took two weeks i'd lose business. On the upside i set my own schedule. ~Bang
TheGoodBits
15 days PTO covering vacation, sick, etc. Also get all 10 federal holidays plus one "floating holiday" typically taken the Friday after Thanksgiving or around Christmas.
balonywolf
2 weeks PTO for all vacation, sick days, appointments, etc. I'm salaried, though, so I find convenient ways to not use it up. It's going to be extra tough this year with a wedding and honeymoon to have anything left by the holidays.
Sniffler
3 personal days and 10 sick days. If I'm out 3 consecutive sick days, I need to provide a doctor's note.
China
8 standard vacation days plus 2 floating holidays. 2 weeks (10 days) per year plus one day for each year you've been with the company up to a maximum of 20 days. 1 week (5 days) sick leave. SiCkSoULjA
I get 2.8 hrs a week which comes up too little over 3.5 weeks a year, it's caps out at 300 hrs I can use at anytime. Sick hours as long as your not abusing it then it's pretty much whatever but of course your not getting paid.

chess
funny you post this.. co worker and I were just talking about that... I currently get 14.67 hours a month and can hold up to 208 hours of leave at any given time... I have 198 hours of leave banked up... and that was with taking a week at x-mas and 2 weeks (seperate) in the summer.... I travel alot so I can bank up hours easily and not have to take leave.... What sucks is we use to have UNLIMITED sick leave... which is SWEEET... .
Bubble Screen
5 weeks vacation. About 2 weeks sick time. Paid for every holiday.
hockeysc23
I get 22 days at my level including PTO and vacation days. But the kicker is I cannot hit my targets for billability if I take it all. So basically if I take over 2 weeks I am usually logging more hours to make it up. Also my cap is at 22 days and cannot pocket any, I just stop accruing at that limit. I wish I could just get a week-2 cashed out a year.
DCsportsfan53
2 weeks (10 days per year) with no sick leave, no 401k matching, maybe 4-5 paid holidays a year and we can't take more than a week's vacation at a time. Oh, and it's not transferable, use it or lose it, and you can't take the vacation pay and show up for work anyways. To top it off my health insurance is almost $300 a month from me for a single 28 year old. Yeah, my industry sucks when it comes to benefits.
