As opposed to what exactly? 🤣 The Bobby Johnson hire is a real head scratcher for me, considering most every other hire comes with accolades and many good things being said about them. We had an atrocious OL, gave up a zillion sacks, might have permanently wrecked one young QB in the process, so the solution is.... hire a guy whose OL gave up more than a zillion sacks, two years running (134 total) and who had physical altercations with his own players on the sidelines during games. Riggo#44 Posted February 13 Share Posted February 13 I’m scratching my head about Bobby Johnson, but we hated Chris Foerster here and he’s doing a good job in SF, so… A couple things to consider for the keyboard mashers. One, he did well in Buffalo. Two, as we know, just quoting stats doesn’t really depicts the unit’s efficacy. The Giants unit was decimated by injuries last year. They were also a mess last year, as Daboll sounds like a real prick. Third, Quinn coached against him for three years, so I am going to assume there is something he sees and likes in Johnson.
