heinicke is our qb for the rest of the season. i'm good with that. if heinicke gets injured and we are still alive in the playoff chase...then we go with wentz. if we get eliminated from the playoffs, i think it has to be howell.

Yeah, but it's safe.  

 

We are averaging about 70 offensive snaps a game.  Which means each game is about 5.8% of snaps.  TH has played 7 games.  That's roughly  41% of snaps for the season. Even if Wentz comes back the rest of the season (he won't) Wentz will not be able to make up the difference.

In this offense, even if they kept calling it basically the same way, they would have a lot more options with Wentz.  

 

I get why they won't go back to him.  

 

But it has to be maddening to Ron that he has McLaurin, Dotson and Samuel, and he can't really use any of them effectively because he has to stick with a QB the team loves but can't actually play.

I think we were the better team and should have won. But we def let them almost steal the game. The playcalling on the 3 and out drive towards the end was infuriating. Running on 2nd and long when you need a first down? F off Turner.

It's hard to believe that a team that started 1-4 is now two games above .500 at 7-5.
