No, it won't mean anything unless Williamson or Kennedy shock and get like over 30% in an early primary. There's bound to be some protest vote again Biden and it will just be interesting to see. Pat Buchanan had a strong New Hampshire showing in 92, but GHWB still easily won the nomination, even if it was apparent that he was in some trouble. But Bush not getting reelected was more due to the political skill of Clinton than anything. Does anyone think that GHWB loses to Paul Tsongas? The economy while not in a techincally recession was still perceived to be in a recession. Any Dem candidate would've had a strong chance of winning in 92. That's what it is when my rent usually increases $25/month and this year went up $200/month. It's gouging especially since it wiped out my Social Security COLA.
