But you know what has helped Samuel?  The ball getting there on time.  TH cannot get the ball there as quickly, and that would limit his ability to get YAC, because defenders would close before he got the ball in his hands.  

 

Helped?  Absolutely.

Yeah. But better to call conservative for a few plays to allow them to get comfortable in the game and see if they can hold their own. If they cant then start calling more rollouts etc.

When all you have to do to market a show is throw out "it's a mix of these three other shows" your show probably sucks.

He was calling a pretty good game until he got comfortable. He’s going to have to learn the hard way that the good teams keep their foot on your neck. 
 

I also wonder how much of that comes from the old conservative ball coach, though. Boss says slow it down you slow it down. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that was the case.
