NoCalMike Posted October 16, 2022 Share Posted October 16, 2022 (edited) Hard to watch the NYG and not make the argument that coaching matters a hell of a lot in the NFL. The Giants don't look "good" but they look disciplined and determined. I still expect their record to come back to earth this season eventually, but from what I am seeing out of them so far the coaches are going to make sure everyone on the field is playing to the best of their abilities and putting personnel into the positions that make them the best they can possibly be. Daniel Jones is a good example to cite. He still isn't good. As a passer he hasn't changed much, but the coaches have tried to design the offense around his weaknesses and so far it has been successful. He isn't the reason they are winning games, but he also isn't going out there and losing games for the team like before.
