Tonight at 8:05 I turned to my girlfriend (who has been suffering through Washington games with me for almost 12 years) and said “Watching this game is only going to bring me negative emotions. They’re going to get smashed and it’s only going to have negative implications for my fantasy championship. I don’t wanna end the xmas weekend on a bad note, wanna watch a movie instead?” 
 

I haven’t done that in the entire time we’ve been together, even though I’ve become more cynical and detached about the team. I’ve never not watched a game. My instincts are impeccable for this decision I have to say. 
 

We watched Matrix Reloaded. Revolutions will be next so we can be caught up and watch the new Resurrections.
