The Rook Posted August 21, 2021 Share Posted August 21, 2021 A few observations and thoughts from the first half: Jamin Davis has the best seat in the house, although he seems to go from prime seating to four rows back after the ball is hiked. Watching the QB's, it may take a few weeks into the season before the chemistry clicks as to timing. Heinicke has a lot of rabbit in him. Patterson IS a baller. Cosmi and Brown can really play at this level. Collins is making amends and doing it well. I saw the joy of hitting in his eyes. Safeties need that. This schedule will be tough for this team. All it takes is one drive of us slipping for them to score, while we move the ball all game and only have 6 points. At some point we have to be the team that takes advantage of opportunities and not being the team that hands the opportunities out to the other team.
