Here's the thing: as long as there are thousands dying every day of COVID while these racist, anti-science, anti-mask ****bags are complicit in its spread, I won't feel sympathy for them. Some days, I look at the death total and start crying because I can't process that much death. I've never had to experience so much death in my lifetime. None of us have. But most days, I just scroll past it. It's just a reality of our ****ed situation that they contributed to. And if I can shrug off 400,000 deaths most days, I can do the same for some brainwashed jackass and their hurt feelings. And therein lies the problem with unifying this country. One side has been ready and waiting to get to work while the other spits in their countryman's face. I want an apology for how the pandemic was handled by the citizens of this country, not in word, but in action. I want to know that this is never going to happen again. It's sad that people could be duped so easily and that they're so stuck in their ways that they truly believe someone as bad as Trump is still better than a liberal. Not only that, but that Trump was great. It's sad that they're so afraid of people that don't look like them or act like them. It's sad that they're by and large uneducated and don't seek ways to educate themselves. That they surround themselves with likeminded voices and don't want to challenge their beliefs for fear of change.
