So because the UFC had fights on so early today I cut out from the inauguration coverage a bit early.  Seems that most of the predicted ruckus never materialized?  Like I said earlier in the thread, I am not surprised. 90% of those "freedumb fighters" don't want any of the actual smoke.  Once they saw legitimate security and law enforcement were there to meet them, they all decided to Make Staying Home Great Again.

Texas Real-Estate Agent Who Took Private Plane to Riots Is Now Begging for Cash to Cover Legal Fees

A Texas real-estate agent who took a private plane to the Capitol insurrection and called it “one best days of my life” is now begging her fellow “patriots” for donations to cover her legal fees. Jenna Ryan, a real-estate broker and life coach, was released from custody last week after being charged for her role in the storming of the Capitol, which she documented on social media. On Thursday, Ryan wrote a Twitter thread begging for donations to help pay for her legal fees for “protesting at the US Capitol.”

“I am being surrounded by hateful people who are calling me a racist and asking for me to go to prison for 10 or 20 years and saying all sorts of horrible mean things about me,” Ryan wrote. “They don’t even know me. They want my business destroyed. I need help patriots.” She added that while she has already raised $1,000, she will need more financial help considering “all my computers were confiscated as well as my phone and my Maga hat.”

Florida bank says it has closed Trump's accounts

A Florida bank announced Thursday that it has closed down former President Trump’s account, joining a growing list of entities that have cut ties with the former president following the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

In his financial disclosures, Trump had stated he had two money-market accounts with Banks United, The Washington Post reports. The accounts held somewhere between $5.1 million and $25.2 million.

“We no longer have any depository relationship with him," said Banks United, without giving reasons for its decision to shutter the accounts.

Another Florida bank, Professional Bank, last week announced that it would be cutting ties with Trump, saying it would no longer conduct business with the former president or his organizations.

Signature Bank in New York and Deutsche Bank have also said they will no longer be conducting future business with Trump. Signature Bank notably took a strong stance against Trump and his allies in Congress, calling for him to resign and saying it would not conduct business with lawmakers who had objected to certifying the presidential election.

Deutsche Bank is seeking to resolve more than $300 million in loans, reportedly looking to offload the loans onto another lender due to the negative press their dealings with Trump has caused. Deutsche Bank's relationship with the Trump Organization is under a civil investigation by New York attorney general Letitia James.

Army falsely denied Flynn’s brother was involved in key part of military response to Capitol riot

The Army falsely denied for days that Lt. Gen. Charles A. Flynn, the brother of disgraced former national security adviser Michael Flynn, was involved in a key meeting during its heavily scrutinized response to the deadly assault on the U.S. Capitol.

Charles Flynn confirmed in a statement issued to The Washington Post on Wednesday that he was in the room for a tense Jan. 6 phone call during which the Capitol Police and D.C. officials pleaded with the Pentagon to dispatch the National Guard urgently, but top Army officials expressed concern about having the Guard at the Capitol.

Flynn left the room before the meeting was over, anticipating that then-Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy, who was in another meeting, would soon take action to deploy more guard members, he said.

“I entered the room after the call began and departed prior to the call ending as I believed a decision was imminent from the Secretary and I needed to be in my office to assist in executing the decision,” Flynn said.

There is no indication that Charles Flynn shares his brother’s extreme views or discharged his duties at the Pentagon on Jan. 6 in any manner that was influenced by his brother.

The Army’s initial denial of Flynn’s participation in the critical Jan. 6 meeting, despite multiple inquiries on the matter, comes as lawmakers demand transparency from the Defense Department in the aftermath of one of Washington’s gravest national security failures, which left one police officer and four rioters dead, the Capitol desecrated and the lives of Vice President Mike Pence and members of Congress endangered.
