Not surprising. The libs of ES don't care about the president showing ankle!

He has a pair of crocs with the Presidential Seal waiting for him on the plane. Plenty of room to store those now that they don't need to pack extra girdles, diapers, and compression socks left behind by the last guy.

The Snl clips are gold. The Biden getting mad thing. It's been said here before. He's sleepy. He's confused. He's not really running things. He's got dementia. Also, he's a control freak who demands staff know all the details as much as him. He yells when he's mad. But not in random rants.

He's nothing and everything all at once.

Biden White House goes after Republicans over Tuberville's military blockade

The White House is amping up pressure on Republicans over Sen. Tommy Tuberville's blockade on hundreds of promotions for military officers, apparently seeking to make the GOP pay a price with voters if he persists, according to a new memo first obtained by NBC News.

In the memo addressed to "Interested parties," the White House dials up the rhetoric against Tuberville, R-Ala., and paints the Republican Party more broadly as enablers of his effort, accusing it of mounting "barely a word of protest."

"Right now, a Republican Senator is choosing to erode military readiness and abuse military families in the pursuit of an unrelated and extreme anti-freedom agenda — with barely a sound from his GOP colleagues," White House communications adviser Andrew Bates wrote in the memo, dated Thursday.

He added that the blockade is "exploiting service members as pawns," hurting military readiness and risking a "brain-drain" from the Defense Department. "He’s even subjecting the families who serve with members to excruciating uncertainty, like not knowing where children will go to school or where spouses can work."

Memo?  Biden needs to hold a press conference and put him and the GOP on the spot nationally.

Biden administration announces $20B in clean energy investments

The Biden administration on Friday announced $20 billion in investments to help finance clean energy projects such as installing electric vehicle charging stations, retrofitting homes to make them energy efficient, and providing communities with battery backup power.

The investment, across two grant competitions, aims to help communities that have faced historic underinvestment, senior administration officials said.

Vice President Kamala Harris touted the investment Friday afternoon in remarks at Coppin State University in Baltimore, a historically Black university, alongside Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan and members of Congress.

She said that the climate crisis is one of the most urgent matters, touching on how communities in the U.S. are facing droughts, flooding and wildfire smoke.

“The climate crisis impacts everybody, but it does not impact all communities equally,” Harris said. “Poor communities, rural communities, native communities and communities of color are often the hardest hit and the least able to recover.”

The two competitions — the National Clean Investment Fund and the Clean Communities Investment Accelerator — will allocate $14 billion and $6 billion, respectively, for the projects. The funding is part of the EPA's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, an investment funded through last year's Inflation Reduction Act, a senior administration official said.

"Providing communities with backup battery power"?  Is that even remotely close to anything realistic?

Yeah we already have that. FEMA controls the ones we have and they’re for emergencies. But it’s been an idea for a while that there needs to be more throughout the country to provide backup power quicker. They inject it into the grid locally while lines are repaired (or whatever)

Believe they also have diesel generators for it
