  1. 1. Rookie QB or Veteran QB for next season (2021)???

    • Draft QB first round
    • Rookie QB from outside first round
    • Sign FA Veteran
    • Trade for Veteran
    • Stand Pat with one of the QBs we have on Roster, draft QB in 2022 Draft iinstead
    • I don't know
    • I don't care
    • I'm tired of 5 year development plans burned to the ground in less then 2

Looks like Detroit won't be taking a QB in the 1st round...that's one team off the board.

Carson Wentz is my prediction for next QB put on the market. Once the Eagles see what Stafford got they may as well just put Wentz on the block.

I was thinking the same about Detroit and now not picking a quarterback.

Nope....now we end up taking a second  tier project to compete with Heiny ho and Allen.

I'm going back to my original prediction...WFT signs Cam Newton and has a 3 man QB competition in camp between Cam, Allen and Heiny....we draft a rookie QB somewhere in the draft or we keep developing Montez. Newton plays in the wildcat and in goal line situations, Allen or Heiny is the starting QB. We go with the Saints approach where Newton is the Taysom Hill.

Good post, HigSkin.  McVay is on a short leash.  If he doesn't get this team to at least the NFL Championship game in 2 years, I think he's fired.

They are obviously adverse to first round picks.  I'm guessing WFT wouldn't throw in that other 1st rounder, the one Rams gave to take Goff off their hands.
