What a complete and total rejection of the both the neocon and Trump foreign policy agenda. This is what happens when you belittle allies, continue stoking tensions with adversaries: alone and no one listening to you.

they have been undermining sanctions for ages no matter the potus

Not really, and really none of our allies have ever take a step as drastic as completely bypassing the international financial order set up by the US to continue engaging with a country that we deem hostile and a terrorist state.

Total failure by this admin, which is really typical of the GOP foreign policy agenda at this point.

Wow. You mean, Obama convinced Iran to shut down most of their uranium enrichment program, and open up the remaining to international inspection, to make sure that they stop short of weapons grade, in exchange for lifting sanctions that weren't actually in effect?

Good thing Trump is an even better negotiator than that.

Hmm... you and Trump or the rest of the ****ing world. I’m just not sure who to side with on this one 🤔

It would probably be easier to decide which one to believe if his post was coherent.

Nah. Probably not.

This is Iran's next move.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/07/trump-iran-playing-fire-uranium-enrichment-190701222356690.html

Trump, asked if he had a message for Iran, said: "No message to Iran. They know what they're doing. They know what they're playing with, and I think they're playing with fire. So, no message to Iran whatsoever."

Several other things also broke coming of Iran.  The Israelis violated their airspace suing US F-35s, but also potentially with Russian cooperation (the Iranian air defenses are Russian).

(Which raises the question, what did the Russians receive in exchange?)

Well of course that can't be possible. You see the treaty agreed to under the last administration resulted in their reactors having concrete poured in them (according to some who who post on this board). It will take years before they can restart their program and begin production.🤣

Newsflash for our resident low-information troll: Iran was allowed to maintain a small fraction of its enriched uranium stockpile for civilian purposes. No one ever implied otherwise. This is from a BBC article, dating back to 2016:

Quote

Uranium enrichment: Iran can operate 5,060 first generation centrifuges, configured to enrich uranium to 3.67%, a level well below that needed to make an atomic weapon. It can also operate up to 1,000 centrifuges at its mountain facility at Fordow - but these cannot be used to enrich uranium.

People living outside the right wing echo chamber were aware of this. And cement was indeed poured into their reactors that produced weapons grade plutonium (understanding details can be hard for some people, so that’s understandable).

Anyways, please continue with usual dumbassery.

Not that hard to figure out.

1)  Iran was enriching Uranium, and was estimated to being near to having material suitable for a bomb.

2)  Obama talks them into halting enrichment, closing down most of it, and allowing inspectors in to verify that they're stopping just short of weapons grade.

3)  (Part of the deal was the US promising that it would not re-impose sanctions.  If we did, then Iran was authorized to enrich past the limit.)

4)  Trump takes office, announces that he's imposing sanctions, even though Iran is in compliance (and has been verified to be so).  (And with no plan for what to do next.)

5)  Two years later, Iran begins enrichment past the level that they would have been allowed to do, if the US were still living up to their end of the deal.

6)  Trump admin, still with no plan what to do, begins working on creating a narrative that Obama did it.

It's kind of peculiar how every time Fox covers this topic, they will say something along the lines of "Iran primed to enrich uranium beyond the levels agreed to in the Iran nuclear deal" as if Trump didn't tear up the deal in the first place.
