Impeachment

  1. 1. Should Donald Trump be impeached for obstruction of justice?

Republican defense counsel made something clear for me. The “quid pro quo” language in Sondland’s text came after the story became public.

No quid pro quo was already the established defense. It was in Trump’s talking points. That’s why Trump used that language. That’s why he was “cranky.”

does anyone follow Trump's twitter?

has he tweeted anything during all of this?

or is he forcibly laid up somewhere with his hands tied to his sides, an opera singer sitting on his chest, and his phone tossed into a pond?

They laced him up in a straight jacket and gave his Walter Reed sleeping pills.

Castor almost appears as though he as a direction he wants to go,then goes full Jim Jordan and forgets which direction that is.  Weird.

Yeah he's been that way for most of these impeachment hearings. He seems like he's trying to go in some direction and then just...goes nowhere.

I'm guessing the answer as to why is the same one as to why Nunes just keeps rambling about the Bidens and Ukraine conspiracy theories election whenever he opens his **** cannon...there's literally nothing else for them to talk about. They don't really have any way to substantively rebut anything the witnesses are saying. Even their "star witnesses" yesterday spent most of their testimonies telling the GOP they were dip****s.

The Pubs are coming on strong with the whole "year before an election" thing.

I mean no offense, but this reeks of the sin all week and be forgiven Sunday type of Christians.

Anybody here be shocked if Skippy the Turtle invents a fictional rule that the Senate will not conduct impeachment proceedings within a year of an election?

Since Nunes and company want to bring up Hunter Biden so much, perhaps the Democrats should start asking Sondland what his qualifications for the ambassador role were when he got the job.  Ask him how much money did he contribute to the Trump campaign.  Then turn to Nunes and ask him if THAT is the kind of corruption and cronyism that Trump seems to be so concerned about.
