Unfortunately they all could be vaccinated now, but that doesn't mean they're not able to contract the virus. The vaccine will just make it so where they should not die or have to be hospitalized from COVID. Also, there's no telling if the people they're around outside of baseball are vaccinated. Kornheiser had buster on his podcast and he said that once a team reaches 85% vaccination rate their restrictions are reduced immensely and they’re all going for it. But that he didn’t expect the first teams to meet that to be for 3ish weeks. And that includes all staff and employees not just players. they’re trying. MLB has been on top of this from the start.
