88Comrade2000
You know what would be funny. If Trump resigns and let’s Pence takeover; with the expectation of a pardon. What would be funny, is if Pence would grow a pair and not pardon Trump. It would kill Pence’s future but Trump would get no pardon.
Fergasun
So now the videos are out of violence... mainly what I saw are Trump folks in the "wrong place". Unsure what led directly up to this in some places.... The violence associated with these rallies is not excusable. There are bad people on both sides. I know the Trump folk think they have a right to free expression, but Antifa is not afraid to use force... and their use of force has led to antiAntifa folk using force. The Sisko
7 hours ago, Hersh said: gerrymandering is the death of democracy. Some democratic states care about fairness and have eliminated it. I don’t think any GOP states have. It’s going to be the Robert’s court biggest failure. Worse than gutting the voting rights act and worse than citizens United. They had the opportunity to change the course of history in this country and elected for power over democracy No. They did exactly what they were put there to do and what they truly believe in. SCOTUS is garbage, just like the constitution. Well, unless you’re one of the so-called job creators, in which case it’s absolute perfection. Simmsy
My old boss and I would always talk politics when I worked with him (we still talk), but I ran into at the grocery store and we were talking the election. The reason why he thought things were going they way they were going were completely the opposite of what I heard. For example: Trump's lawyers were quitting because they were getting death threats, not because they were getting laughed out of court. "They're" talking about using the 25th amendment when Biden takes office, because he's so mentally incapable of being president. You can't make this stuff up. Just make sure that you're seeing the entire videos and not a clipped segment in order to get a much better context. For instance this got Trump supporters/BLM protest critics all riled up: Paints a different picture when you see far more of the video:

Now how would Trumpsters use the 25th amendment to remove Joe? If there was a need to use the 25th on Joe; only Kamala and Joe’s cabinet can bring that about. No one outside the administration can do that. Now after the Trump disaster; maybe we need a new amendment whereas congress can have option is using the 25th amendment; when there’s concern that the president doesn’t appear to have the facilities to do the job. When Republicans realized painting Biden as a socialist wasn't going to work because of a ridiculously long public record of his votes and positions, they switched to the idea that he is just a puppet, and sooner or later to be replaced by Harris, possibly by the 25th amendment. 2. No need for a new amendment... The 25th already stated that the decision is made by a group made up of the Vice President and EITHER the cabinet or another body selected by Congress. So Congress can already do what you propose. The Vice President has to be involved, but if the Vice President doesn't want to take office, the whole thing is moot and there's always impeachment. Congress also gets to decide if the President can return to duty. https://constitutioncenter.org/interactive-constitution/interpretation/amendment-xxv/interps/
Larry
Admiring the notion of conspiracy-theory Trumpers deciding that they're going to use a rigged Congressional jury to "25th" Joe Biden, on claims which they already know are false, and replace him with Harris, because Biden is actually a puppet and the Dems have a plan to replace him with satanic socialist Harris. The idea is that the DEMOCRATS are going to 25th him to get Harris, not the Republicans. The Congress bit isn't part of the conspiracy, as far as I know... I was just pointing out to @Rdskns2000that his proposed amendment isn't necessary because the current one already allows Congress that role.
