That would be so great if you were right.

Wishful thinking. I’ve seen it posted tho so it’s currently the hopeful liberal conspiracy theory explaining why it’s taken so long to get the report conclusions out and why he’s stopped tweeting.

The report will be damaging to him and recommend prosecution for his family and they are working out him stepping down.

there is no way it would be kept quiet this long tho so it’s just a fun fantasy

Last moments with his family before resigning as part of a deal, hence his Twitter absence.

He's definitely not resigning, POTUS is the only thing protecting him.

But it's just another thing in a pattern of weird behavior.

Goes insane last weekend.

This weekend crickets.  And then them spending actual time together, when normally it looks like Melania would rather punch him and hold his hand?

Fishy as ****.

It is very possible -- if not likely -- that the media spent the past two years breathlessly connecting way too many dots.

Could be, sure. But you saw a lot of those dots yourself - didn’t you? There is obviously something there. And even if not then there was for sure an attempt at cover up.

All you have to do is look at Trump’s public and private behavior related to the probe to know beyond a doubt that’s not the case.

An innocent man publicly praises and supports the investigation as a critical thing that needs to take place to exonerate him. He sits down for an interview. He voluntarily complies with any and all requests from Mueller.

Trump spent damn near two years pumping his base up to the idea that the investigation was corrupt. He dodged an interview and severely delayed even basic written responses. He’s a guilty man. There’s nothing in the report or excluded from the report that should convince anyone otherwise.

So he shoulda played like Flynn and then get strung up for leverage?

People only think they are innocent.

Flynn got leniency. The Judge delayed his sentencing because he was enraged St what Flynn had done. Cry me a river for Flynn.

he thought he was innocent though.

Re Assange theory, Wikileaks Twitter has been promoting extradition theories so maybe... I assume they would know if they lost contact with Assange.

Also, goddamn Wikileaks Twitter is just a cesspool of right wing conspiracy nonsense. I remember when they actually could plausibly claim to be a transparency organization. Now it’s just pure Russian propaganda.

Who?  Flynn?

No he didn't.

His dumb**** son might have thought that, but dad knew better.

If he thought he was innocent he wouldn't be winning the "no jail recommendation" sweepstakes.

The first reasonable thing I've read in any of these threads. It's funny to watch everyone here parrot the Russia Russia Russia line and pat themselves on the back for how clever they are.

Its funny to see people pretend that many people around Trump and Trump himself didn’t have to correct  record multiple times about meetings involving Russians. Probably just a coincidence.
