I also thought the biggest issue was that they refused to extend immunity to our soldiers? (I get easily confused with this stuff. It’s a lot of moving parts and I just don’t know enough ) (I wasn’t necessarily trying to place the blame on Obama’s for that) My mistake then - I thought your previous post was blaming Obama for Iraq, my apologies. No Excuses
I wish Democrats would hammer this point home a lot more. Anyone who identifies as “fiscally conservative” and continues to vote for Republicans is a dumb ****.
Riggo-toni
GWB and Trump have both proven to be unrestrained wasters of federal funds. W holds the all-time worst of all time, but after getting a spending bill bigger than anything Obama even suggested, maybe Cheetohead can come a closer second. Riggo-toni
I like the way our government runs when there's a Dem president and a GOP congress.
LadySkinsFan
I done, those ****ers obstructed Obama every step of the way since 2009. Obstructed confirming justices including a Supreme. Obstructed legislation that would help humans in favor of profits, you know the drill. That entire party is reprehensible.

I agree, the Boeher/McConnell era Congress was awful. But I tend to agree with the previous statement. Democrat President, GOP Congress...as long as there some sense of bipartisanship and not this party first zero sum game that is the current political climate. Riggo-toni
I didn't say it was perfect, and I completely agree that the post-tea party GOP has gone far far over the edge. But, I generally prefer a government that spends as little as possible.
LadySkinsFan
Given the post by No Excuses with the deficit graph, I'd say that the Republicans are the spendthrift party.
Kilmer17
Republicans have never REALLY cared about how much the Govt spends. They REALLY have only cared about on WHAT it was being spent.

Largely because he refused to raise taxes to pay for two wars. Increased spending, decreased receipts = deficit. Add: Guess i should read to bottom before responding.
