Rush was trying to talk them down with "but look at all the defense $$$" but they weren't moved. Even said they wouldn't vote for him next time (of course they will). It would be more accurate if they said their frustration was that the libertarian/tea party wing of the GOP hasn't had enough influence in writing the spending bill, because the GOP itself, at large, has always been for spending.
