drowland
Cousins bet on himself and lost. The Redskns FO did something right by sticking to their guns on contract negotiations. Actually they probably should have traded him when the market was high. Either way he's a place holder.
SkinsHokieFan
Thank god the FO had more sense than the local Kirk loving media.
DM72
For the most part, the play calling has been good. Kirk just sucks. Thank God we didn't agree to a long term deal.
skinsfan4221977
This loss is partially on Cousins, but I lay the lion's share of the blame on McVay for his TERRIBLE Red Zone play-calling. We should have ran the ball on at least two of those three plays.
RonBurgandy
Hope Cousins holds on to this year's contract for life. He'll need all the money he can get after he sits on the bench for the rest of his career.
BatteredFanSyndrome
This guy walked on a guaranteed 50 million dollars. Unbelievable.
No Excuses
A good QB would have killed the Cowboys today. Kirk has a lot of weapons at his disposal. This might be the first time I can recall recently where we have a really good supporting cast with a mediocre QB bringing everyone down.
skins4eva
Kirk's problems are between the ears. He's terrible right now and needs to be coached up. We have an awful coaching staff, and they are not helping at all. Play calling is abysmal. No flow at all. Just fire them all. Can't stand seeing gruden's clueless mug on the sidelines every week. And that's what's most distressing. Why the HELL is his confidence so fragile? Particularly after the strong finish to last season. This is worrisome. I do question 3 fades in the endzone when none of them were even close to working, as well as a run with our smallest RB on 3rd and 1. Cousins cost us a lot of points with misses and that INT. Our defense is exactly what it should be with a garbage d-line and a garbage d-coach. Shouldn't be surprised I guess.
blueskin
A high draft pick is in our future. How does the qb class look for the 2017 draft? Because all we have beyond Cousins is Colt McCoy and Sudfeld
SkinsHokieFan
Seriously, this is a 42+ point game for our offense if Kirk has any accuracy

Destino
There is no hiding from 1 touchdowns to three interceptions through two games. Kirk needs to improve dramatically because there are no excuses this season.

This is the place where we take our anger out on Kirk because McVay still gave him plenty of looks and Cousins either missed them or didn't see them. He has been everything the naysayers said he is. Agree with all of it. But it's the Coaching part of it that has me unsettled. How many times did the Rival roll out their Rookie QB & Kerrigan bit EVERY ****ING TIME! Then when Kirk rolls out on the 2nd & Goal (I think?), their Defense is disciplined enough to stay at home. Unbelievable!
JesseNeckred
Cousins left many points on the field in both games. Guys have been open.
RonArtest15
Kirk has another week or two to get it together...if not, put Colt out there. He was AWFUL today.
redskins59
He has zero confidence. I am sorry, but if we stink, we need to draft another QB next year. This QB is not trustworthy.
riggins#01
I am so upset with the play of Kirk. Under throwing too many balls included a game winner to Garcon in the end zone for a touchdowns. He looked like the rookie not Prescott.

No Excuses
The Cowboys played without a D-line all game and beat us. Our receivers were burning their putrid secondary. Kirk sucked against a horrible defense which is worrisome.
Aireskoi
The fade route, what is it with this team that they want to hit that so bad? This team should have played all 4 preseason games, they just don't seem ready to play on offense.
