11-5 Finish, Tell Me It Can Happen, Please....

Were you watching the dolphins game? They can’t beat the 49ers the Vikings or anyone else on the schedule. I’m willing to bet they don’t win again.

    Erosion Of The Redskins Fanbase

The good news is that Bruce Allen, the prince of darkness, will be fired. I know I'm in the minority when I say that Jay Gruden is not that bad. He'll never win you more than 9-10 games but if he had talent and a defense the Redskins would be mediocre again and that seems to be what Danny wants. Still, I'm looking forward to the blow up and rebuild even though we won't hire the right GM again
  3. To quote the great movie, Major League... "who are these ****in guys" and "they're still ****ty"

Poll: How are you choosing to be a Redskins fan right now?

I posted this in another thread but it seems more relevant here: Interesting fact: The Redskins have not won more than 10 games since 1991. And they have only won 10 games 3 times since 1991. The Redskins are the most average team, run by the most incompetent fools. From Vinny Cerrato to Bruce Allen the results are guaranteed to be the same. Somewhere between 5-9 wins and sneak into the playoffs just enough to keep it interesting. The Washington Redskins suck. Admit it. 2012 10-6-0 2005 10-6-0 1999 10-6-0 Sad, isn't it? By comparison, the Eagles have won 10 games or more 15 times since 1991 The Cowboys? 12 times The Giants? 9 times Cardinals? 4 times 49ers? 12 times Seahawks? 9 times Saints? 9 times Bears? 6 times Bucs? 6 times Packers? 16 times Lions? 4 times Rams? 6 times Vikings? 11 times Falcons? 8 times Since 95, the Panthers have achieved 10 wins or more 7 times Patriots? 20 times Chiefs? 12 times Chargers? 7 times Steelers? 17 times Since 96, the Ravens, 10 times Colts? 15 times Broncos? 11 times Jets? 6 times Raiders? 5 times Jaguars? 6 times Dolphins? 8 times Bills? 6 times Titans? 8 times Bengals? 6 times Texans? 3 times who have only been around since 2002 have TIED the Redskins for 10 wins or more. That leaves us with 1 team. What great company we are in: The Browns 2 times Btw, I chose 10 wins because I believe that is a good indicator that your team is making the playoffs. 8-9 wins can get it done and has for teams in down years for their division, but it doesn't happen very often. Sneaking into the playoffs on a down year shouldn't be the goal, so 10 wins seems like you have a good chance of making the playoffs as a division leader or wild card.

    Brett Rypien. Opinions?

The Redskins will find a way to botch this. Some other team with a good scouting department and GM will identify a QB and draft him and likely with 1-3 picks prior to the Redskins in either the 2nd or 3rd round. Sorry, but I just do not have any confidence in this team. Will they draft Rypien? Probably, but only due to his name and ties to the organization. Will he be available in the 3rd? Absolutely. I'm guessing 6-7 rd pick for some team.
  6. It makes me feel so sad for him. I hope that he makes a full recovery for the sake of his family and that he isn't in pain.

Which other NFL team is most worthy of Redskins' fans time and money?

Take the full cap hit for Smith in 2019

This front office really Parky'd the entire situation.
  9. Any chance he will get canned now? The Redskins are awful and have been since 1991. We have won no more than 10 games in a season since then and only accomplished that 3 times. The Bruce tenure is basically Vinny with better salary cap management.

    Lock up Josh Johnson now

Johnson is now your backup. I'm thinking the Redskins should make a play on one of the available QB's available in free agency next season like Flacco or Foles? Foles is looking pretty good the past couple of weeks and confidentially won a super bowl. He's young enough to groom whoever the idiots in the front office draft as a QB next year. Fire Bruce Allen, that's all I want for Christmas.

    Redskins Cut DJ Swearinger!

The clown car organization strikes again. What a bunch of idiots. Suspend him for a game that doesn't matter next week because the organization has control with his contract. He's playing very well and could be used as trade bait. Now you have given up a pick and let him walk only to be resigned by another team, for NOTHING. Sounds like the same idiots in control of the Cousins debacle. GREAT JOB!! GO REDSKINS!!! LOL! This team is a joke. And they are going to keep Bruce Allen. Wow. Just. Wow.
  12. That last INT was ALL Josh Doctson. Is anyone even remotely surprised? Watch the replay again. Josh stopped his route. The QB threw the ball where he was SUPPOSE to run. Josh Doctson. You suck.

Who should be the next head coach for the Skins

The question is, when will they fire Bruce Allen. His record speaks for itself. Awful.

    Retain Jay For 2019?

I absolutely agree with this. Jay has found a way to get a team with a pretty good offense and no defense with Cousins to the playoffs. Then the next season get the redskins to possibly 500 with no WR"s, every starter injured and 14 different QBs. He's not that bad. The defense is improving (although I'm not a fan of Minuski). If the Redskins had a competent front office to get them good players from drafts and not blown the Cousins situation they would be a good team. I would say it's completely possible for them to go anywhere from 7-9 to 12-4. That's pretty good. But, if the Redskins fire Bruce Allen - a man can dream - then I'm pretty sure the new GM will purge and bring in his own choices. I'm ok with that as well but Gruden brought the team from bad to decent.
