Yeah it wasn't a good throw, but Paul could easily have caught it seeing as how it hit him in the hands. Instead, he essentially handed it off to the defense.

I don't think there's an annouce team in sports I like.  Just tell me facts.  Who's on the field, what's the score, what yardage needed, things like that.

Never said it wasn't a bad throw.  But as a TE/WR, your job is to catch the ball when it hits your hands.  It was catchable.  Simple as that. It's not defending, its common sense.

When the WR/TE is 3 yds away, there's not enough time to adjust to such a short pass. If it had been 15 yds then I'd see it differently, but too close to have time to adjust to the ball
