No, this has nothing to do with the breakfast meat.

It has everything to do with Kevin Bacon and how seemingly every actor who ever graced the silver screen is related to him. I can't get more than 3 as a bacon number. Most celebrities are a 2 on the bacon scale.

It's strangely addictive. The two 3's that I got so far were Charlie Chaplin and Stephen Hawking.

Well I haven't found one over 3. But there are a few that don't come up with any results, such as Hale Hamilton and Arthur Byron.

I was looking for actors from the '30s that weren't in huge numbers of movies.

The problem is most actors from way back in the day were in dozens of movies, so chances are the were in a movie with somebody that's connected to Kevin Bacon.

EDIT: I finally found someone with a Bacon number of 4: Greta Schroeder who appeared in Nosferatu.

And another: Gustav von Wangenheim also in Nosferatu.
