Hersh
I will never understand having a shift on for a pull hitter and than calling for an outside pitch... At least we will see about our bullpen today since he is unlikely to make it past 5 purely on pitch count if nothing else.
TheDoyler23
Matusz threw a few nice curves and changes. Hopefully he just needs to settle down a bit.

SuperBash
65 pitches so far. Thank God for Wieters, saved him some more pitches. He'll be an All-Star again this year, should be the starter in the AL but no chance he gets voted in. ---------- Post added April-9th-2012 at 08:01 PM ----------

I can only speak for myself but I didn't cheer for anybody. I watched the O's casually but there was no real connection.

TheDoyler23
Markakis gets two awful strike calls against him and actually argues. Nice to see some fight, because he walked twice in that AB and is on the bench right now.

Boss_Hogg
Way too many Skankees fans in attendance. ---------- Post added April-9th-2012 at 10:23 PM ---------- Umpires were garbage tonight, or atleast the plate umpire.
Bang
Way too many Skankees fans in attendance. Unfortunately, that is all too normal. A lot of times I 'watch' the game with my back to it while I work.. I listen for the pitch and then glance at it. (It's good we have Gary thorne. He's a good play by play guy, and makes Palmer almost not boring. Almost.) USUALLY the crowd helps cue me in to something to look at. But when the Yankees and Red Sox are in town, it's just as loud, if not louder when they do something. ~Bang
