Disagree thoroughly. Never has there been a moment with the football team where I thought we never even stood a chance at competing. That’s where the wizards have been my entire life outside of a few good years of Wall putting a bunch of bums and injury discounts on his back and carrying.

Dan’s worse, there no contest.  On and off the field, Dan’s worse.

Wait. You’ve actually believed every season that the WFT had a chance of competing? Are you serious? Competing for what, the number one pick in the draft?

Either way, whatever you feel doesn’t  make Snyder a better owner than Leonsis.

They were irrelevant and bad before Leonsis brought the team

The 80's and 90's were miserable years

Remember chris Webber or Rasheed Wallace or Juwan Howard? Rod Strickland?
After Webber joined the Bullets, many thought that the two former Fab Five members would bring success to the team, coached by Lynam. The Washington front line was expected to include Webber, Howard, and Kevin Duckworth and to have Gheorghe Mureșan, a 7-foot-7-inch (231 cm) Romanian center, coming off the bench.[118] Chapman, MacLean, Cheaney, Mitchell Butler and Scott Skiles were expected to provide solid perimeter play.[118] Experts projected the Bullets as contenders for the Eastern Conference title.[118] The Howard/Webber Bullets debut against the Boston Celtics established new Bullets television ratings records for the Home Team Sports network.[119] However, the early season trade left the team in a state of confusion due to lack of familiarity, which resulted in communication difficulties on the court.[120] Howard eventually moved into the starting lineup.[110] As a power forward, Howard posted impressive numbers after he became a regular starter.[110] Howard participated in the February 11, 1995, NBA All-Star weekend events as a member of the Rookie Challenge.[121] He earned second team All-Rookie honors at the end of the season.[101] That month, he became the second Bullet (since the award's inception in 1981) and first since Jeff Ruland in January 1982 to be named NBA Rookie of the Month.[122] During the month he averaged 20.1 points, 8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 14 games, including his first two 30-point games.[123] The following month Howard suffered an ankle injury, missing a total of 10 games (all of which were Bullets losses).[124] Over the course of the season, he averaged 17.0 points per game and posted 17 double-doubles in 65 games played (52 starts).[101][125] He totalled 30 points or more on three separate occasions.[125] The members of the team combined to miss a total of 317 games due to injury,[126] and the team finished the season with a 21–61 record.[127]
This sounds very familiar

Ted’s Wizards have more playoff wins in ten years as majority owner, than Dan’s Football team has in 20.  He also doesn’t have his minority owners extorting him by releasing info on yet another scandal.  It’s not a close contest.

Also re Ted V Daniel M Snyder I can tell you right now that it's easier to make the playoffs in the NBA. Ted's only fault is that he is too loyal. He also allegedly shook up the NBCSW broadcast (still miss Steve and Phil every day)

But with all the stuff we knew about Daniel M Snyder this offseason how could you possibly say he is a better owner? The Wizards have never had a culture issue (at least after the year when Gil brought the gun into the locker room lol)

Basketball playoff wins are not the same as football. You have to be pathetic to miss the playoffs in the nba. The NFL is pretty easy to figure out at. Have a qb? Then you have a shot at the playoffs. We are still looking.

The minority owner is extorting Dan to get that sweet sweet bezos money. That’s all that’s about. Nothing to do with nobility.

( Ignoring the finger guns, or crittenton) The wizards have no culture. That may be more of a crime than having one sullied by decades of losing.

Honestly, What culture the wizards had left was scrapped the second the name changed to the wizzers, buck and Phil were replaced with Drew Gooden, and the DC Loyalty angle was broken with the Wall trade. This franchise exists as a feeder and a representation of what could go wrong if you employ incompetent losers at every level of management; from the FO all the way down to the medical staff, while gleefully ignoring the local fanbase. And it always will.

😂🤣😂🤣 you can’t be serious. What has been the WFT culture and how many incompetent people has Snyder kept employed.  When you are on an island, it might not be everyone else that is wrong.

anyway, it will be interesting to see if Brooks gets fired soon. I’m down for a rebuild with the entire organization. Nothing changes until Ted realizes this.

If you squeak into the playoffs in the nba you have to knock off a top three seeded team in a seven game series.  You think that’s easier than winning a wild card game in single elimination?  I do not.

The argument was that the wizards won more games, not more series. It’s a best of 7 each round. That’s not a fair argument

When I said playoff wins, I meant series wins.  I don’t know how many individual games the wizards have won in the post season.  It doesn’t matter.

Deni desperately needs to learn how to use his left hand, but he looks like he’s going to be in the nba a long time.

The unfortunate truth is there are no great owners in the DC area. The Lerners are probably the best but they are penny pinchers despite their wealth.

Especially in the NBA given the soft cap and MLB given no cap, I don’t think anyone who doesn’t see owning a team as a hobby vs a business should be allowed to buy a team. There needs to be some sort of high net worth minimum with a minimum level of liquidity

Crazy to say this, but it doesn’t seem like having your PG poach all of the defensive rebounds from the bigs is holding us back tonight.

Westbrook is a human argument for why the triple double is a useless curiosity we have deemed meaningful because most of us have ten fingers and toes to count on.

Westbrook's celebrated tenacity for snatching up rebounds is a net negative IMO.  It is another form of ball hogging. He freezes the bigs our from touching the ball in one of the few chances they get to do it and cuts off opportunities for them to start breaks and feel involved in the game that way.  It is an unsubtle way of big timing your own team and not real leadership.  And maybe if he didn't spend so much energy chasing the ball around he'd have more to actually concentrate on defense and have fewer garbage crunch time possessions.

Guys should play within their roles in a team sport.
