YES! Lose lose lose. And big.

Can't decide if I'm going to watch this one.  Watched the Redskins season die and currently watching Tech throw up on themselves vs UVA.  I don't want to see more ineptitude and failure.

Get off the narcotic man, let me tell you...your life will be better for it.

The raptors were swept by this team a few years ago.

Yet the Raptors are contending for the conference title now and the Wiz are a bottom feeder.

It must be nice having a real GM.

And a good coach.  This Nurse guy looks legit.  That is a smart team that executes at a high level.  Their bench is unbelievably high quality to the point that they can seamlessly work any of their bench guys in with their starters and start attacking you in different ways.  Siakim and Anunoby are particularly hard to deal with.  All kinds of match up issues with them.  And Ibaka at the five will prolong his effectiveness.  Just a really well constructed and coached team.

And a top ten player in Kawhi Leonard just fell into their laps.  He's a perfect fit for that team.  If they can keep him this summer then they are going to solidify themselves as a conference power for years.  They're starting to look like the young and hungry version of the Spurs.

It's painful to watch because, at one point, we were absolutely on the same footing as them.  Better top end talent even.  But the summer of 2016 happened.  That was the turning point.  It was an abject disaster that basically doomed us.  Every single decision we made that year except for keeping Beal turned into a worst case scenario: hiring Brooks, chasing Durant, chasing Horford, settling for Mahinmi, signing Nicholson and Smith to painful contracts, whatever bull**** we pulled off at the PG position (tough to keep track of the failures here), all of it derailed us.  We end up trading a first rounder just to get out of Nicholson's deal and rent Bojan Bogdanovich for a couple months.  He walks and because a key rotation player on a good Pacers team.  We're stuck in a situation where we have to match a brutal offer sheet for Otto Porter the next summer...

Everything fell apart after the 2015-2016 season.

This is really the turning point for the Wall/Beal Wiz era.

Instead of building on a successful playoff run, Ernie had quite possibly one of the worst offseasons in NBA history. Every single move was crap and ultimately devastated the quality of the bench and our ability to improve long term.

This is really Ernie in a nut shell. He bids against himself pretty much every time this team needs depth.

In the Arenas era, he gave horrendous contracts to Etan Thomas and Darius Songaila. Decided to let the corpse of Antonio Daniels run the bench. Stuck with Andray Blatche even when it was obvious that he sucked. Terrible at building a bench through the draft.

He gave a player option contract to Eric Maynor, on the first day of FA, when absolutely no one in the league wanted him. Dude was playing in Turkey after cashing out here. We’ve since legitimately never had a good back up for Wall (does Sessions count?).

This team needs to be nuked from the orbit and should follow the 76ers path. Two decades of being 6th seed specialists has run its course.

That game from Otto, coming on the back of watching Kawhi play in Toronto, is a poignant demonstration of the path not taken.  Otto is as talented as Kawhi.  Not quite as long, but almost.  But he's a tin man who is nowhere near the competitor that Kawhi is.  Kawhi is all confidence and heart.  He is always probing and looking to make an impact and he fights for everything.  Kawhi is a good teammate who is not deferential and knows when and how to assert himself.  Kawhi has never been scared to get the ball in his hands in the fourth quarter.  This lightbulb has never turned on for Otto.  He will never realize his potential here.

He just has to own it, Rodman did some wild ****. If you're a freak, be a freak.

But apparently he had a religious upbringing and is morally against it, somehow? And his priest is apart of his entourage that's been involved in making the threats towards his ex? What the **** sense does that make.

He shouldn't have threatened that Trans woman.  That shows what douchebags him and his people are.  Hard to defend him against the 15 year old deeply homophobic knuckledraggers that constitute the NBA's fanbase after his actions.

God this Wizards seasons has already been the biggest **** show and we're not even a quarter of the way through.
