Mr. Sinister
Anyone going to see Capt. America this weekend? I am pumped for this movie.I am off Friday and will probably see a early showing. Yeah, I'm going to go see it also. I had my doubts about this, but it's mostly because I'm being pessimistic. Captain America is as old and plain as old and plain can get, one of the few original superheroes created during the wartime era, and I've never been a big fan of digging up the dead, especially Captain America, just for the fact that most movies like this are carried, and buried by ****ty actors, but once I realized that this was all part of a bigger plotline, and wasn't really a standalone movie, I was on board with it. Besides, just the fact that Hugo Weaving is playing the part of Red Skull is enough for me to go see this.
Hubbs
The more I think about it, the more I realize the URL for this message board could easily belong to a porno site. You're just realizing this? Hugo Weaving = Red Skull = Awesome. That's probably the biggest factor in making me consider spending the money to see Captain America. Hugo Weaving is a phenomenal actor. Yessir. Hugo Weaving is a beast. He has the perfect voice for Red Skull. It was probably a no brainer for the director while he was sorting out his cast. abdcskins
Paris Hilton has never done anything even remotely productive in her life and I don't understand why she is a celebrity other than her name. I hate my roomates a lot, they've partied until 4 am the past THREE nights and I hate how they keep me up with their yelling and listening to crappy Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. Who the hell parties until 4 am on a Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night?

Koolblue13
^ Either someone who's rich, or someone who doesn't have a job Or someone like me, who's a bartender. I had a three piece band playing again, with lots of dancing. Don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing. The morning light and chirping birds, are my alarm clock, that it's bed time. Got a little, 5/6 hours of sleep. Get a little more, grab a burrito and then go kayak. Now I have a few hours down time, maybe a drink and lunch, a little nap and then off to work. Good living. I can't believe people work 9-5 jobs, get stuck in traffic, any of that. That's crazy living.

Theres no way that I could survive off of 5-6 hours of sleep for an extended period of time though. I need at least 7 or I'll feel like crap for the entire day, although it probably doesn't bother you that much, since your body is pretty used to it, and the fact that the older you get, the less sleep you need (no offense)

Soup
Just found out my little cousin is going to Korea to train??? So I asked him what the heck are you going to go to Korea to train for? He answered, Starcraft 2. Apparently there is this whole gaming culture revolved around the game star craft. There are leagues, tournaments, and big bucks to get out of it. He says people actually coach others for a price. Can you imagine having to pay someone so you can get better in a game? Maybe I'm getting old but this is the first time I've heard of anything like this. Apparently, Korea is the Mecca of starcraft, they consider it a real sport. My uncle is going nuts, he doesn't know what to do and he asked for my advice. I don't know what to tell him

There is no American comparison in gaming. They played the first Starcraft at a feverish pace even almost a decade after it was released. Tournaments over there are serious financial business. Pick6
Hugo Weaving has had a huge career. The main stream probably barely knows who he is. He was in LOTR, the Matrix trilogy, Transformers (Megatron), V for Vendetta, and will be in the Hobbit movies. There is a ton more, but I just listed the big stuff. They consider it their national sport. I just didn't realize how BIG it was and how much money people make a day playing that game. Cousin is telling me coaches make 500-700 a day just teaching people how to play the game. They broadcast the games and have commentators analyzing the matches. Its a legit sport over there ---------- Post added July-20th-2011 at 03:37 PM ---------- That is a badass Spawn sig, Soup thanks Mr. S appreciate it
Hubbs
Yeah, Korea is unreal with Starcraft. There's nothing he in the States that's an adequate comparison. I don't understand it at all, but, hey, other people don't understand why we care so much about guys carrying an oblong ball into a grass rectangle that's painted with the home team's colors, so, hey, whatever floats Korea's boat, I guess. The Price is Right and Jeopardy are the only game shows I can bring myself to watch, and I only watch The Price is Right for nostalgic reasons.
