  1. Exactly. It’s more frustration on my end. I ultimately get it and I bet they view Henry as more than a rotational piece, which is why they traded up for him. Again, I believe that 5th round pick would have been perfect for an off ball guy
  2. Fitterer is their GM. I give him credit for building up a good defense. The run the ball/play strong D philosophy did nearly get them into the playoffs
  3. Give up on the MD fanbase. MD is now Ravens country. Focus on the VA fanbase. Folks forget that Richmond is a 1M+ MSA and the Hampton Roads are a nearly 2M MSA. I believe a number of folks in NC, especially the older fans, are still fans of this team.
  4. Winning fast needs to be the key. Every recent new ownership group has gotten off to a slow start. However, none of them had Harris's experience in sports
  5. Think third year is a charm for drafting an off ball LB?
  6. Is Rivera screwing up someone's name a kiss of death? Look at what happened to "Rotimi Bunmi" last year
  7. Even if the D takes a step back, I still expect 7 wins minimum. Their schedule was arguably harder in 2021 with a bad D and worse roster.
  8. I wonder what type of workload he gets next year assuming everyone is healthy. I wonder if he ends up outcarrying Gibson when it is all said and done.
  9. Matt Ryan is an awesome pickup for CBS. The guy was built for TV...great insightful interview with Logan and Craig on the Take Command podcast
  10. Would've been cool if he had been given a small piece of the ownership in the Harris group.
  11. What is encouraging for the DBs is that the practice squad is going to be stacked with guys like TCF and Wildgoose
  12. Looks like a guy you'd find at the Jersey Shore over the summer
  13. What is the point of drafting rotation upside guys in the middle rounds when you can go sign an Efe Obada type for the minimum?
  14. Keim had his DB coach on recently. Supposedly, there was a serious internal debate among the coaching staff on whether to play Quan as a boundary corner or safety. They went with the latter because they have a lot of depth at the former.
  15. Props to you season ticket guys. FedEx is the worst stadium experience I've had, whether pro or college games
  16. He has a Jon Jones body type. Even, now as a heavyweight fighter, it is not as if Jon Jones's legs are tree trunks
  17. The FA cupboard is pretty bare at this point. Cameron Fleming is one of the final guys out there who would add to the mix here. May be able to play a passable starting RT, which could help move Wylie inside.
  18. I wouldn't be surprised if the next administration passes on Jamin's 5th year option. I believe it's going to be above his market value. He gets paid between Holcomb and Okereke money if he were a free agent today if I were to guess
  19. The one that gets me is trading up for KJ Henry and giving up that 6th round comp pick. Felt unnecessary. Yes, every DE is a FA after this year. However, finding a depth edge guy like Henry can wait until next year. Wish they'd stayed in their spot and taken To'o To'o, Pappoe or Dennis. Would have loved to have taken Voorhees with the 6th round comp pick and redshirted him.
  20. Don't hold your breath. Tepper was a minority owner of the Steelers as well
  21. I just don't think there are many situations left in the NFL where there is a GM who can survive multiple coaches and, in many cases, even if they have that authority, the owner tends to be a powerful force in that organization. That is what make the NFL quite different from the NBA where there are a lot of powerful GMs who are the bosses of their organizations (Daryl Morey, Sam Presti, Pat Riley, Rob Pelinka, etc) Mickey Loomis, Brian Gutekunst and Jason Licht are the only three guys I can think of. None of these guys to me have a presence in their orgs like a Pat Riley or Daryl Morey
