  2. Double-check with the HOA to make sure they allow wookies.
  3. They certainly removed any chance of the backup being popular.
  4. I want my old house back, the one I sold in '06. It was perfect for me (almost the same layout as the one I grew up in the hills, same carpet! ). 3 br ranch, like what you're looking for. On a cut-through, but not nearly as busy.
  5. I think you kinda have to pick which one you want, because you have to design your offensive system around it. If you have a guy like Lamar, you design your offense around his running. If you have a guy like Mahomes, you design your offense around his passing. Now obviously if you have an athletic QB who can use his legs it makes plenty of sense to design some runs into the system (as in Josh Allen for example). But that's completely different than designing your entire system around a QB's running (as in Lamar). I just really really hope they choose to focus on Jayden's passing and use his running ability as an adjunct vs the main feature. Because I agree with you, if he can become an elite passer who can keep defenses on their toes with his legs sometimes, then he could become a 10+ year franchise QB and we could be a perennial contender. If the choice is to focus on his running, I think he'll flame out like other running QBs. Though, as I've noted in the past, my biggest concern there with Daniels isn't necessarily that we'll have a ****load of designed runs (LSU didn't) but that he statistically tends to take off so damn often when pressured and moved off his spot vs scrambling and throwing off platform. Hopefully that can be improved on.
  6. Lol now it's two houses in Jamestown. The one what hit the market this morning is on a half acre n too good to miss out on dammit. Oh how I hate looking at real estate. I've toured more houses in my life than any sane man should. 🤣
  7. 2 - Drake Maye 36 - Cooper DeJean 50 - Cooper Beebe 53 - Kingsley Suamataia 67 - Blake Corum 100 - Troy Franklin 139 - Sedrick Van Pran Granger 161 - Johnny Wilson 222 - Myles Cole That's rigidly going off my board without considering overloading on positions. I might have picked Austin Booker over SVPG at 139 because of already having Biadasz and the better position value of Edge. But if I stay true to my board, SVPG was the BPA here for me.
  8. Hey, we know where we stand and what we stand for. We've gotta hope for others to get with reality.

  10. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/other/how-to-bet-2024-kentucky-derby-chris-the-bear-fallicas-expert-picks-best-bets Every year, sports fans shift their attention to Louisville on the first Saturday in May for the Kentucky Derby. There’s just something incredibly special about the event dubbed "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports." This is the 150th "Run for the Roses," and regardless of whether you indulge in a few Mint Juleps, there is fun to be had for all — particularly when it comes to laying a few wagers.
  11. I love this pick. I’ve always wanted us to get a TE/FB hybrid who can catch. He might not be a true hybrid but he’s close enough.
  12. that is hope. I hope he loses. I hope enough people vote. I hope he is unable to steal it I hope there isn't violence. We said all that in 2016. ~Bang.
  13. Think about it, 3 of RR's top picks on defense will be in dogfights for playing time this year with 2 of them possibly on the roster bubble (Mathis, Forbes). Not to mention Ron's prize pick, Chase Young is already gone as is Sweat. What a testament to his time in DC.
  14. People said the same stuff about Darnold and Trubisky. They still sucked. And our defense was hilariously atrocious that day, but ok...Fields looked good. So what? Even ****ty QBs sometimes have great games. Overall if you watch him enough you'll see just how bad Fields really is as an actual QB (very good running back though).
  15. RFK Jr. Event Hosted by MAGA Group With Jan. 6 Ties Last Saturday, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. appeared at an event that felt entirely on-brand for the anti-vaccine champion: a so-called “medical freedom conference” near Buffalo, New York. But the group that hosted Kennedy isn’t just skeptical of vaccines. It’s also skeptical of the fact that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. That group, Constitutional Coalition of New York State, has founders who not only have ties to Donald Trump but are also connected to the stop-the-steal movement through their activist network, which includes groups that had a presence at the Capitol on Jan. 6. 16. I think there’s a non-zero chance that Peters, coming from SF, along with Kingsbury think there is a viable way to account for a mediocre at best OL via scheme: Daniels releasing the ball quickly (and using RB’s and TE’s heavily) can take a lot of the pressure off of himself. We’ve seen it before—Cousins coming in when the OL looked terrible in 2013, Brissett last year.
  17. Over 100 far-right militias are coordinating on Facebook “Join Your Local Militia or III% Patriot Group,” a post urged the more than 650 members of a Facebook group called the Free American Army. Accompanied by the logo for the Three Percenters militia network and an image of a man in tactical gear holding a long rifle, the post continues: “Now more than ever. Support the American militia page.” Other content and messaging in the group is similar. And despite the fact that Facebook bans paramilitary organizing and deemed the Three Percenters an “armed militia group" on its 2021 Dangerous Individuals and Organizations List, the post and group remained up until WIRED contacted Meta for comment about its existence. Free American Army is just one of around 200 similar Facebook groups and profiles, most of which are still live, that anti-government and far-right extremists are using to coordinate local militia activity around the country. 18. TikTok is allowing users to spread manipulated videos of Biden, despite the platform's policies Deceptively altered videos of President Joe Biden with audio added to depict him receiving profanity-filled jeers are spreading on TikTok without any labeling or disclosure, seemingly violating the platform’s policies. TikTok has a history of falling short when it comes to moderating AI-generated or deceptively altered content. According to TikTok’s Community Guidelines, “synthetic or manipulated media that shows realistic scenes must be clearly disclosed” by displaying “a sticker or caption, such as ‘synthetic’, ‘fake’, ‘not real’, or ‘altered.’” The policy goes on to specify that “material that has been edited, spliced, or combined (such as video and audio) in a way that may mislead a person about real-world events” is not allowed. TikTok has a history of failing to enforce this policy and could have allowed users to profit from content violating it. Deepfake videos promoting bitcoin scams, sketchy health products, and AI-generated conspiracy theories have proliferated on the platform, along with other deceptively edited videos of politicians. In some instances, users may have profited from TikTok’s Creator Rewards program (formerly the Creativity Program), which is designed to pay creators for content over 60 seconds long that they post on the platform. Media Matters has now found multiple videos on TikTok that depict Biden with altered audio and do not have any labels or disclosure about the alteration. (These videos are less than 60 seconds long, so they appear to not be eligible for the rewards program.) On April 29, Snopes identified a video of Biden’s April 17 visit to a Pittsburgh-area Sheetz convenience store, which was altered to include profanity-filled jeers and other heckling and was shared on social media. The inserted audio reportedly originated from a video taken by a protester heckling Biden’s motorcade during his 2023 visit to Maui. Click on the link for the full article
