People increasingly live online and now seem to be embracing the notion of keeping life size dolls for sex.

over population is a problem that seems to be solving itself.

Is it wrong to be trying to figure out a way to make money off of this?

People have made money off of far worse. 20 years from now ( if the world isn't a nuclear wasteland), the sexbot industry will be fierce

Capitalism at its finest.

Buy your own doll and rent it out to people (collect security deposit).

If the cops show up, just say, hey I thought they were taking it home and were just talking to it.  I am appalled that they were having sex with it.

Even monkeys have been shown to use money for sex:

Japanese culture has an enlightened attitude towards prostitution. Affairs bring shame, BUT - It's not considered adultery/cheating IF you pay for it.

Whores are good; mistresses are evil.

That reminded me of one of the most pathetic and awkward articles I've read in recent times (that isn't about Trump).  My sex doll is so much better than my real wife.  This line in particular:

Quote

He said: “I’d never cheat on her, even with a prostitute, because to me she’s human.”

Can I blame all this on the sex positive movement?  I'm feeling judgy and need someone to condemn for all of this.

When I saw the thread topic, I thought for sure it was from daveaki. What a business investment!

There was an old hermit named Dave, . . . .

One of the things I admire about Zelazny's second Amber series was when Merlin encountered Dave.

Im not sure whether to be concerned, or elated. Ob one hand, for those that are socially challenged and reclusive, this will only further deepen that hole, and continue to make them a net loss as members of planet Earth.

On the other hand, if they grow attached enough to it to believe its real (or these things get so advanced that they simply can't tell anymore), then I think it will start to scale back all this young sexually green male angst thats weighing us all down with their bs ( which, though you can point to a host of issues, always arrives at the simple fact that they try and fail spectacularly to get a girl to give up the butt, or in other cases, they are afraid to even look in a females general direction and make eye contact).

I've heard people say porn put VHS over Beta, Bluray of HDDVD, and helped the Internet take off.  I will not be shocked to see these sex bots lead to a revolution in life-like anomitronic capabilities (and I do mean capabilities) and replacements for damaged human body parts.  The first machines to really trick us into thinking they are real will be sexbots, watch.
