Gano is leading NFL in FG% at 97%, most the other ones are mediocre. Kobra Kai is decent and in the playoffs, Novak is a journeyman, and Suisham just retired as Steelers all-time leading kicker following a knee injury.
Reaper Skins
You guys did see that before nailing that 58 yarder he shanked a 25 yarder right? Seems like he's the same kicker he was when he was here..... no big loss IMO

IIRC he was on a lot of people's boards last year, I do recall his name. Instead we took Ryan Anderson. Uuuuugh... Yeah, although Cook was my favorite back I knew we had no shot at selecting him. Therefore, I was wishing that we would maybe select my second favorite in the second round, (Kamara).
flexxskins
I've been wondering if there are others other than myself who are hoping that we don't give up on Keith Marshall. I know that he's injury prone, but he has a collection of skills that no other back (other than Thompson) on our current roster offers.

While many of us remained optimistic, Cooley continuously bashed him all pre-season. Fingers crossed that he takes an Ionnidis-sized step forward. I can't say that I remember too many people talking about Kamara in the 2nd... It's an easy hindsight is 20/20 now. Each of the 31 other teams can play the "we could have had" game with him and Hunt. It's not like it was just our FO who missed.
Paul Cumberland
Just as scouts tend to question the abilities of short QBs, I think it's time for the league to put a height restriction on owners with no grandfathers clause.

The skins need to dedicate a scout to these boards I swear.

Congrats, you were one of the few. After Dalvin went off the board, the vast majority turned their sights away from the RB position. I was with you about McCaffery, I got a lot of hate for hating on McCaffery. We needed a RB, not a gadget back, especially not in the 1st; very happy he didn't drop to us. CT is the same player, possibly better.
Warhead36
I'm not saying I wanted Kamara, but I do remember reading his name on here quite a bit. I wanted Dalvin Cook and was willing to trade up in round 2 to get him.
thebluefood
Can someone explain to me why the idea that specialists aren't important enough to deserve high honors, like placement in the Hall of Fame, continues to circulate? I was watching this video on Steve Tasker, the ace specialist for the Bills back in the 80s and 90s and there were these folks commenting on it that said the same things "oh, well, if you put guys like Tasker in the Hall of Fame, then it makes the Hall of Fame mean less" or whatever. If specialists weren't important, we'd still have offensive tackles and halfbacks kicking field goals and we'd still have quarterbacks doubling as punters. I mean, why not, right? Tom Brady's the best (and as far as I know, the only) quick kicker in the league. Why hasn't Belichick put Brady in as the team's starting punter as well? It isn't as if punters can't give your defense excellent field position, right? It isn't as if punting makes you vulnerable to injury. Give yourself extra roster spots and double up on special teams! I don't know - that kind of thing bugs me. It's like when people downplay the importance of a bassist in a rock band. I wanted a RB in the first 2 rounds. Then Allen fell. That was a no-brainer. So I was really set on a RB in the second. I was ok with a RB in the first until Allen was there. Yeah, that game was much more about the Falcons' ineptness than it was the Eagles doing anything. Foles was terrible, but Ryan wasn't much better.

As for Vikings Vs saints, you wouldn’t want to see the Vikings make history by becoming the first team to play a super bowl in their own stadium? No way..not the Vikings.. a lot more difficult than you think married to a Bears fan from Chicago trying to talk about it during the game or prior to the game..I get what you're saying and if it happens for the Vikings good for them, Saints Jaguars Super Bowl, write it down now.. I do know this...the jaguars make it to the big dance and coughlins resume will sky rocket him in to the likes of Gibbs, Shula..and oh ya belicheck....
