How many QBs in this link were drafted #2 or higher and got redshirt, let alone redshirted and it worked out forvthem and the team that drafted them?

If it's true that we went hard after Hunter, would we go just as hard after Bosa? Would the Chargers trade Bosa for our 2nd third round pick just to get out of his salary cap hit? This would essentially be a Chase Young for Bosa swap on our end.Ā

I'll be the total homer and say building a team myself I would rather have Howell as my QB over DeShaun Watson - lol @ Cleveland. Heck even Mariota lol.

Who cares they are all different people, my point is they do not have to start right away, yours is they do. We already covered that.Ā Ā

Iā€™d say so. The only think Iā€™m wondering is if we signed Fowler/ferrel (plan b) as a reaction to being turned down by hunter (plan a). If so, it may mean weā€™re done addressing that position.

that said, I think bosa should be had for much cheaper than a 2nd. With his contract and his recent injury historyā€¦

I have no problem moving this to a QB thread, but you repeating this claim like it's fact doesn't make it so.

You even used the term redshirt, which to me last I checked means an entire year.Ā  I opening door for anyone to show some precedent to picking a QB #2 overall if they need the whole first year to get ready to play at this level.Ā  Otherwise, that's a no from me, dawg.

Interesting thought. My Brother is a diehard Broncos fan and he even suggested that move. If it happens, I'll have the full scoop on his play over the years. That said, maybe a Howell/Bowles deal gets done somehow?

I got excited about 20 new posts, thinking we made a singing...but alas, it was all about steakĀ šŸ¤£
