Also, as an aside… Cosmi isn’t all that great either, folks. He’s our best lineman. But… he doesn’t start on a good portion of teams imo. And that tells a large part of the tale. 

 

Maybe you didn't see what I saw. Right after the snap there was no defender in front of him. That is when you run. Go back and look again.

But it wasn't a designed run. Why would he have run right after the snap? They called a pass that required a second or two of development to work. That's not on Howell.
