Should ask him how he felt that many of his players are not coming back. Can’t collect that ring, if most of your players no longer on roster.

Anyone who would do that in person is an asshole.

Yeah, it’s like you can sit there a curse a dude out on Sundays, but then you see they are just a regular guy shopping for a 3 wood and it’s different.

2000 though, I’m not sure he could retsrain himself.

So, let’s revisit the roster evaluation phase undertaken by the new coaches….

Erm, yep 5 minute job, it sucks.

Yeah it's pretty obvious now why peters gave a little smirk when he was first asked what he thought of this roster.

Walterfootball still listing us as the Redskins !

Redskins Redskins sign LB Bobby Wagner (1 year, $8.5 million): A- Grade
If this signing seems out of the blue because Bobby Wagner had spent his entire NFL career on the West Coast, remember that his former defensive coordinator, Dan Quinn, is now the head coach in Washington.

Wagner is an obvious scheme fit for that reason. He’s also a huge upgrade. Between Wagner and Frankie Luvu, the Redskins are likely to have excellent linebacker play for the first time in a long while. There’s a chance that Wagner could fall off a cliff because of his age (34), but even if he does, it’s not like Washington is risking much on a 1-year deal.

Washington Commanders

Armstrong is a proven perfect fit with new Commanders head coach Dan Quinn, who immediately helped him take his game to new heights upon arriving in Dallas three years ago. Washington could still stand to make another move at edge rusher, with Armstrong more a rotational piece than a top guy, but linebacker Frankie Luvu also adds another pass rush element.

Ekeler brings the pass-catching element to Washington, which lost Antonio Gibson in free agency to the New England Patriots. Ekeler’s pairing with Brian Robinson is a perfect complement of skills in the backfield.

The Washington Commanders join the New England Patriots as a team picking in the top three of the draft that probably doesn’t want a young player backing up a top draft pick, with Jacoby Brissett and Mariota now serving as bridges to the future. Mariota was the No. 2 overall pick back in 2015 and can now mentor the No. 2 pick in 2024. In addition, his athleticism and mobility, paired with a big arm, is the profile of quarterback Kliff Kingsbury likes to work with.

PFF FREE AGENCY GRADE: A

I will not apologize because he won't be a hall of famer if he doesn't keep his hat forward. This criticism is for his own good.

Need to add a box that says “I have a negative Pavlovian response to anyone in football with the name ‘Dan’”

We are now seeing with GMAP an assertiveness and deliberateness that has long been absent in DC. There's a real plan and vision in place. Major difference from the more lackadaisical approach of the former regime. There's a confidence that's starting to emanate from Commanders Park that will soon filter down to players and coaches, and eventually fans. Even if next season's record still suggests a rebuilding phase, I think we'll have a lot to be proud of going forward. The new FO is absolutely killing it.

Peters is currently writing an authoritative book/instruction manual, soon to be recognized as a classic in its field: "How to Rebuild an NFL Franchise from the Ground Up in One Offseason"

Seriously though, I hope we can look back on this and everyone will say–"that's how you do it."

Lets simmer down now

That would be disappointing as hell. We have an all star coaching staff, all star FO and just put one hell of a roster together in 3 days and still have 5 day two picks to add to it.

We're a perennial playoff team and anything else is a disappointment.

Anything under .500 is garbage. Not that it can't happen, but it's time for 80's/90's expectations.

Why simmer down?

It's mid March. This is the time of year optimism is at its peak.

Let us enjoy it until reality sets in in August when the preseason games start.
