Rodgers had to run to the AFC to get away from the mighty KIRKZILLA.

The question now: what are they planning to do about fielding arguably the worst D in football last year while paying Kirk $36 million 🤔

May not be popular but they're on NFLN now and saying Heinicke's camp is saying they are in negotiations with Commanders.

Please no.  He was lucky he didn't throw at least 7 ints that were flat out dropped last year.

Daniel Jeremiah recently was talking about how some of the better teams in recent years were helped by having position flex players on the O line that enabled them to survive injuries.

Masko was hailed as a genius until the bottom came out last year.  Schweitzer was better here than elsewhere, Flowers, Leno, maybe Larsen, too.  So I'll trust that they know what they are doing.

Also I like the idea of going hard in both FA and the draft at that spot -- that according to the beat guys especially Keim is their plan.  All hands on deck at the O line.

this is news?  Back in the day, the only guy we had who didn't play multiple positions was Jeff Bostic

Didn't say it was news.  Not everyone agrees on the board or from what I noticed from fans on twitter -- their counter argument is more or less jack of all trades, master of none.  So I was pushing back a little.  B)

Why early LB deals in free agency are bad news for Titans' David Long

The unofficial start of free agency hit on Monday at noon ET with some of the top names at their respective positions coming off the board already, and the deals some of the top linebackers on the market have agreed to thus far are bad news for Tennessee Titans linebacker, David Long.

Two of the best available players at linebacker, T.J. Edwards and Germaine Pratt, have agreed to terms on deals with the Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals, respectively.

Edwards’ deal with the Bears is for three years and $19.5 million, which works out to $6.5 million per year. The deal also includes $12 million guaranteed.

Pratt received a slightly bigger deal in his pact with the Bengals, a deal that will cost Cincy $21 million over three years, an average of $7 million per. The guaranteed money has not been revealed as of this writing.

The only players I would expect to garner more in their deals are Bobby Wagner and Lavonte David, the No. 1 and No. 2 linebackers available.

Both Pratt and Edwards are at least slightly better all-around players than Long, and they haven’t had the kinds of injury woes he has in recent years.

Knowing all that, Long is likely to make less than both.

Spotrac estimated Long would get a deal that pays him $4.9 million per year, and it’s starting to look like that could be a realistic figure. That’s good news for the Titans, as the cheaper Long gets, the better chance he stays.

He is an expert at turning a garbage can into a cooler for Busch light. So he does have the survival skills to make it.

Not a right or wrong, but love this approach to the Oline versus throwing big money at other teams guys. Must continue to add at minimum day two talent in the draft though.

Year #1 in FA:  Logan Thomas, Schweitzer, Leno, Lucas, McKissic -- they did really well playing that game.

It went south on the O line when IMO they had a combination of losing Scherff in FA and Rouillier and then Larsen went down.  Cosmi missed some games and played banged up and wasn't the same.  T. Turner was hurt too, started off poorly playing hurt but then was OK as the season went on.  Norwell was OK.    That was too much piling on to the O line for it to come togetther.

The prior two seasons their O line was good, not great but good.   Back then people touted Masko for being a genius.  Flowers, Schweitzer played better here than elsewhere.  Leno was decent at LT.  Larsen was a good sub, etc.  Cosmi played well as a rookie.  He was the magician who can patch anything together.

Then last year it fell apart and some act like the O line was always awful and we can't trust them to fix it.  I trust them to fix it.
